As Ysuked made his way to class he got a call from Sumire.

"Good morning Yusuke I was wondering if you were feeling ok after all the hard work we did?" She asked.

"I'm a little tired, but I'll manage, however I'll probably need to restock our medicine." Yusuke replied.

"That makes sense because after all you're not an athlete. On the bright side we found the treasure, now all that's left is to send the calling card. Futaba-chan said she wanted to make it. I hope that's alright with you?" He heard Sumire ask.

Yusuke thought for a moment. He wanted to make the card himself but he might get a little too emotional and accidently give himself away.

"That seems like the best Idea." He said, as he approached his home room.

"Ok, I'll give her the clearance to make it and we'll wait for your signal." Sumire replied. "Oh, my train is here, I have to go!."

With that she hung up, and Yusuke quickly put away his phone, just as Naoya walked up to him.

"What's going on?" He asked, in a considered tone.

"What do you mean?" Yusuked replied, playing ignorant.

"You've been acting stranger than Usual lately, and I overheard you and that was the first time you've been talking to say something about a talking cat. I want to know what's going on." Naoya pried.

Yusuke was grateful for his friend's concern, but at the same time he was a little nervous about being discovered so early on in his career as a phantom thief.

"Ok, come up with something witty." He heard Morgana encourage from his bag.

"I found out that Madarame is selling Saiuri replicas and now he's threatening to turn me into the police because I know too much." Yusuke replied.

Naoya's expression changed from determination to tairror for his friend.

"What!? He can't do that! You should go to the police." Naoya said, trying as hard as he could to keep his voice low, but it was still clear that he was worried.

"I can't, and even if I did the police won't believe me unless I have evidence, and I don't feel safe going back there to collect it." Yusuke, replied letting his frustration for the situation show for the first time.

"Then let me do it." Naoya offered.

"No! I already got one friend into trouble because I was being selfish. I won't let it happen to another!" Yusuke denied.

The harshens and gilt behind his words surprised Naoya who backed down as he got his own emotions under control.

"I'm sorry, I just want to help." He admitted, sincerely.

"Maybe you could teach me some Kendo?" Yusuke asked offhandedly, but his question caught his friend off guard.

"Why?" He asked, "Don't get me wrong I don't mind teaching you something but you've never been interested before."

Yusuked wanted to get better at using his Katana in the metaverse but he didn't want Nayoa to know about that.

"Recent events have made it clear to me that I need to become stronger and I need a way to blow off steam" Yusuke replied, he expected Nayoa to say no but instead he saw his classmate nodding his head.

"I guess that makes sense."
