The night had finally rolled through, and Jake and Maddie were sitting on the couch, taking notes watching basketball highlights videos, getting ready for a big game that they had coming up real soon. As they continued to watch the video and take notes, Liv came down the stairs and squealed in excitement seeing that they were watching TV and wanting to join

"What are we watching? Fashion Week? Music videos?" She said excitedly before looking to the tv. "Oh Basketball." she said with discussed as Maddie and Jake looked at each other with raised eyebrows.

Liv:
I know it looks like we must be identical twins, but sometimes I seriously question it.

"First off TV star, if any of that stuff was on, do you really think I'd be sitting here?" Jake pointed out as Liv shrugged kind of agreeing with him

"We're studying the game tape for our school rivals, the Ravens." Maddie said "They wiped the floor with us last year. It was the first game I ever started and I scored seven points."

"Oh! Seven points. Yay" Liv said as Jake quickly slashed his fingers in front of his neck to her gritting his teeth trying to tell her to not say anything.

"Not yay. Not even a little yay. It was humiliating. It was a career low." Maddie said upset. "But I've been working my butt off and this Friday, Maddie Rooney is gonna pluck those Ravens! Boom! What?!"

Liv then turned to Jake who was glaring at her. "You had to get her going."

Just then, Pete came walking in from the kitchen, "I don't hear game tape." He called before gasping. "Why aren't you watching the Ravens? You gotta get ready. Now let me see that rage face."

"Rage face!" Maddie yelled at the top of her lungs pointing at her face

Jake:
This family is filled with freaks

"That's what I'm looking for." Pete said proud of his daughter ready to head back. "Get back to your game tape. Oh, could you do me a favor? Don't tell your mother I'm fanning the flames of your fury." He said as Maddie clicked her tongue signaling he was all good before leaving

"'Fanning the flames of your fury'. And somehow I'm the dramatic one." Liv said before taking a seat between them.

Parker then came in through the front door and gave a look of disappointment, "Maddie, you're still hogging the TV? It's not normal for kids to be playing outside this much." He complained before closing the door.

"How about you pause-a-rooski that video and come to the Mall with me for a sister-centric shopping fest?" Liv suggested excitedly

"Oh, Liv, I would so love to go to the Mall with you, except I hate the Mall and I'm busy." Maddie said sarcastically as Liv looked at her disappointed

"Are you sure you wouldn't rather have some Liv time? You know, they say it's good for the soul." Liv said to her sister trying to persuade her

"Who's says that? You're obsessed stalkers?" Jake asked jokingly before Liv without looking swatted Jake's notebook out his hand as he just watched it fall.

"Yeah, there's been a lot of Liv time since you moved home, and it's been great. But now I have basketball season and midterms, and I can't just pause-a-rooski my life to hang out with you 24/7." Maddie explained

"You seem to be in the same situation my brother was in. You should think about making some friends." Jake pointed out

"I thought you and Blake were my friends?" Liv asked sounding hurt.

"We are but that doesn't mean I'm going to go to the mall, especially if it's going to girly stores. And you know, Blake is still dealing with his stupid social anxiety." Jake pointed out.
