The Winter king

"Kallen!" One Reinhardt Crozzo greeted with a happy smile while a bipedal creature stood by his side. "There you are!" 

"Oh, Rein? How are... what happened to you?" In front of a young woman with white hair and blue eyes asked looked at the disheveled young man in front of him. Dark hair with powdered snow covering parts of his hair and the winter jacket he wore. 

"Just practicing Cloyster's teleport. We got sent to the Himalayas and stayed there for a few hours," Reinhardt said with a shrug. 

"Wea..." The creature by his side nodded as it looked at the creature by her side. A Glaceon, the ice-type evolution of Eevee. 

"I told you it was going to be fun!" Reinhardt said to the Pokemon in front of him— a Weaville,

"Ville! Wea!" 

"Says the one who solo'ed a Tyranitar," Reinhardt said with a smirk as the Sharp Claw Pokemon looked away.

"Excuse me, did you say you just fought a Tyranitar?!" Kallen asked as she looked at the two. The Glaceon on the ground raised its brow while both trainer and Pokemon looked at the two. 

"Yep!" "Wea!"  A small Rotom phone flew in front of them, showing a picture of Reinhardt and Weaville posing on top of a knocked-out Tyranitar. 

"There you are!" The group of four paused their conversation as a younger version of Reinhardt landed on the ground while a Lucario landed near them. "I need help! I have a date and—"

"I was about to ask Kal out!" 

"Come on, bro!" 

"Fine! Who are you going on a date with?" 

"Rita!" 

"Isn't she dating Bianka?" Rein asked while his Weaville looked at Lucario. 

"So?" 

"Cuck," 

"Kallen," 

"Touche," 

Ignoring the antics of the brothers, Kallen gently patted her Glaceon's fur. "Oh, before I forget, Rein. We have the class partner assignments later," 

"Got you," Rein said with a smile, a goofy smile that Kallen had seen a lot of times ever since their childhood.

In a classroom in St. Freya Academy's college division,

Reinhardt, Kallen, and a lot more people sat in their seats. 

"Since we are all here," The teacher, a man named Welt yang, looked at the students and at the tablet on his hand. "We will be assigning partners to each other." 

"PAIR ME WITH KALLEN!" Reinhardt announced, raising his hand. 

"Rein..." Kallen shook her head while hugging her Glaceon. Don't get her wrong, she was fond of Rein but he was too much at time. 

A melodic giggle silently echoed in the classroom. 

"Since you are so eager, your partner Mr. Crozzo would be..." Welt looked at the list on his tablet and his eyes widened a bit. 'This is an interesting duo.' After all, Reinhardt's partner would be someone equal to his skill as a trainer. "Elysia Shariac,"

"Huh?" 

"The fairy-type specialist?" 

"Miss Pink Elf?" 

"Oh, come on! Just pair me up with Kal!" 

"This list was made by the professors and approved by Principal Theresa," Welt replied with a smirk.
