"Faier, I have a question for you." Lobin looks at the boy who carelessly floats around.

"What is it, Lobin?"

"I don't know if my memory is on the right path, but when I'm still inside Han's weapon to rest, I heard that you know Jayen's song."

"It's because I'm from Iryankka, Lobin. Remember that?" The boy squinted his eyes, a little bit annoyed at Lobin's forgetfulness, "Is it unnatural to know Jayen's song?"

"That song is full of longing. He only sang it when Xian and Han were around."

"Oh..."

"For the months that you're in our group, did you regain your memories when you're still alive?"

"Oh, oh. What are you guys talking about? I want to dive in!" Guxav smiles at them.

Lobin sighs and raises his eyebrow, "Do you really need to? It's none of your business though."

"What if I can contribute? You may never know!" Guxav laughs.

"Fine. If you say so. Faier was found by Han and Arete when they heard Jayen's song."

"Jayen? That magician who nearly killed —"

"Yes. Now, Faier is so weak at the time that he can only sing the lullaby inside the flute where he stays. When Han asked him why he knows that, this brat doesn't have a clue." Lobin ruffles Faier's hair.

"Oh... Is the lullaby named, My beloved Iryankka?"

"Yes. Did you have an interaction with Jayen to know that song?" Lobin is getting suspicious of his little brother.

"Not really an interaction. When he's visiting the slums right outside that academy, I will disguise myself as a slave trader so I can corrupt more people. You know, fallen stuff." Guxav shrugged.

"Then?"

"He always sings it to the people when he's distributing food and other basic necessities. Did he mention that the song is for the academy students only?"

"... Yes..."

"Oh. Like a school anthem? You know him, brother. All of the prodigy's friends aren't trustworthy, even him, himself."

"Han took a long rest and reflected on what he did. He will not lose control."

"I doubt that."

"..... Is it because of Arete?"

"Yes. He will fall again just to save her. It will be exhausting."

"Aren't you supposed to get worried about Arete?" Faier joins the conversation, "She's a mortal. She doesn't know nor see how the world was first formed. She didn't live long enough to see many things change during that time."

"I have seen wars that obviously ended tragically, people only prosper for a short time just to experience misery shortly afterwards." Lobin states, "Han used to be the right hand of the king which led to war. If he chose Arete to be Sera's savior... He will lose control of himself again just to protect her."

"But... Isn't that a selfless act?"

Lobin shakes his head, "Han tends to be aggressive and ruthless when he's doing his duty."

"Can't you stop him?"

"I tried locking him up in the Palace of Wisdom but that kid always finds a way to sneak out or break the barrier I made."

"So... In short.... Han didn't change at all?"

".... Honestly, I don't know. But he's caring enough to look after you and Liliana."
