THE ASSIGNMENT OF LOVE

(CHAPTER 10)

      (At Rahul’s place) Rahul’s mother said “omg! You both are here so surprisingly. I am so happy to see you both, come in my children” rahul said “Mom actually, the power point of my apartment blasted last night and the electricity get cut and we don’t know how many days it take to deliver the new power point so we came here” his mom replied “that’s so bad but at least it became an excuse to come here otherwise I did not have any hope to see you both in our house in this decade” she asked “did you eat something?” Sophia replied “yes we already had our breakfast”
    After being fresh and up Rahul charged his mobile, and he went back to his apartment to look at the problem. Sophia was in home suddenly Ravi called her he said “I want to meet you today for some case related work” and send her the location of the where they are going to meet. Sophia thought that she has already done her work and now she have nothing to do so it’s better to go somewhere outside. 
         (At a café) Ravi was waiting for her with a flower bouquet “good afternoon Mr. Prakashker” Sophia came and wish him. “Good afternoon miss mane. Come sit” he stand up and move the chair for her. Sophia noticed that he is without any file or iPad. She asked “where is your Files?” Ravi replied “I am sorry miss mane but I lied to you actually I just want to meet” Sophia replied “but why?” Ravi replied “I just want to be a friend with you, you know what whenever we meet we always talk about our business but never talk about our personal life” Sophia said while being uncomfortable “Ohh! So that’s the thing. But I think talking about our personal life with business or work partners is not my cup of tea I am so sorry and moreover I never merged these two thing in my life” Ravi replied “Ohh sorry I don’t know that you think in this I just wanted to be friendly with you” Sophia said “yes we will definitely be friend once the case is solved but for now we are business partners” Ravi replied “I respect your decision miss Sophia”
    In the evening when rahul came back home he noticed Sophia wasn’t there he asked his mom “where is your daughter in law?” his mother replied “she went to meet her lawyer she said it was urgent” rahul replied “to meet her lawyer urgently?” his mother replied “yeah! If you are that curious ask her in person” without saying anything he went in his room.
At night when they all having their dinner rahul asked his dad “dad where were you all day?” his dad reply “I was at banquet hall” rahul asked “banquet hall? But why?” his dad replied “Ohh! Yes I forget to tell you. The reception party of you two” rahul asked “reception party of us? When?” his dad replied “it is next month’s first date that means 10 days are left” rahul said “and you are telling us now? How did you forget to tell the groom and bride and mom you, you also didn’t tell us” his mother replied “I thought that your father already told you about this” they were talking about it Rahul’s father noticed that Sophia is eating calmly as she already knows everything. He asked her “Sophia why are so calm about it you can also get angry” meanwhile Sophia who went to her parent’s house after meeting with Ravi, and her parents told her everything about her reception after listening it her family had to went through her anger and calm her down. She was angry because there was not more time left to get prepare for it. After taking out her anger on her family she replied her father in law in a sweet tone “no I am not angry maybe you forget to tell us because you have a lot of work to do for preparing the reception very well  we still have 10 days I and rahul will go for shopping tomorrow” Mr. Vijay said “see rahul how nice she is how finely she understand my situation and without yelling at me she gave the perfect reply learn something” rahul stand up in anger and went back in his room without finishing his food. His father tried to stop him by calling his name but he did not stop.
    After dinner Sophia went to their room he saw rahul was working on computer. She asked “why did you do that? I mean what makes you so angry?” rahul answered “that’s none of your business! Just leave me alone” Sophia said “from where did you bring this much anger there is nothing to behave this way. You are acting like someone cheated on you. And leave you alone? This your parent’s house to yours so that I’ll sleep in the guest room. If by mistake I sleep in other room in front of them than only you’ll answer them I am not gonna say anything” rahul replied “okay! I’ll sleep on the bed you can sleep on the couch” Sophia said “I am sorry but I am sleeping on bed you can sleep wherever you want” and she slept on the bed. The couch was too small for rahul he can barely sleep on it comfortably because of his height.so he decided to sleep on floor but there was no extra mattress for him to sleep due to compulsion he had to sleep beside Sophia.
       The next morning rahul as he woke up he saw Sophia was sleeping and her face was in just front of him. Forgetting about all his plans he was looking at Sophia beautifully it was good until Sophia started moving. He immediately close his eyes but he wasn’t able to change his position. And when Sophia woke up she gave him the same look as his. When she was looking at him, he also opened his eyes, and the most beautiful eye contact takes place. But it was not long just few min. when they realize they are having a serious eye contact they both break it simultaneously but the awkwardness between them was at peak. Sophia came out from the bed as soon as possible and rahul hide himself in the blanket. And when she went to bathroom, he immediately came out from the room.
