The celebration of the successful launch of Jungkook's project was in full swing.
Jungkook stood in the center dressed in a sleek black suit. His smile was polite as he talk with with business partners and friends, but his heart wasn't in it.
His parents, Jeon Seo-Joon and Jeon Ji-Hye, stood nearby beaming with pride.
Seo-Joon clapped his son on the back. "You've outdone yourself, Jungkook. This project is going to be a game-changer for the company. We're so proud of you."
Jungkook smiled nodding at his father. "Thank you Dad. I'm just glad everything is going according to plan."
"But Jungkook don't forget to take care of yourself You've been working so hard" his mother Ji-Hye said
Jungkook chuckled lightly "I will Mom. Don't worry about me"
As the party continues Jungkook's thoughts drifted away from the celebration. His mind wandered back to the quiet village, to the little cottage.
He could still see Jimin's shy smile, hear his soft giggles, and feel the warmth of Mimi curled up beside him at night.
"Jimin... Mimi... What am I supposed to do?" he whispered to himself. He hadn't realized how much he had grown attached to them, how much he needed them until now.

Next Morning
Jungkook was jolted awake by the sound of loud knocking on the door.
Grumbling, Jungkook threw off the covers. When he opened the door he was greeted by the sight of-Namjoon, Taehyung, Yoongi, Jin, and J-Hope-all grinning widely at him.
"What the hell are you guys doing here?" Jungkook asked rubbing his eyes
"We came to see the mighty CEO who's been hiding away" Taehyung teased in his deep. "It's been too long since we've all hung out together"
Jungkook sighed, stepping aside to let them in. "You could've called, you know"
"Where's the fun in that?" Jin chimed in, throwing an arm around Jungkook's shoulder as they all made their way into the living room.
Once everyone was settled "You look... different, Jungkook. Something's up isn't it?" Yoongi said
Jungkook hesitated. He hadn't planned on telling anyone about Jimin or Mimi, especially not his teasing friends. But as he looked around at them he realized he couldn't keep it to himself any longer. Besides, if anyone could help him, it would be them.
"Okay, fine" Jungkook said, holding up his hands in surrender. "There's something I need to tell you guys"
Jungkook then told them everything-about Jimin, the beautiful and adorable boy he had met in the village, and Mimi the little white fox. How he miss them.
