14) Jimin's Past

Jungkook smiled down at Jimin, who lay peacefully asleep in his arms, his chest rising and falling gently. He looks so fragile after everything that had happened.

Carefully, Jungkook leaned down and kissed Jimin's cheek, his lips brushing softly against his warm skin.

"You've been through so much" he whispered his careful not to wake Jimin. His nine tails were no longer visible retracted after the magical outburst, leaving Jimin looking like any other human.

After some time, Jimin woke up and blinked up at Jungkook rubbing his eyes cutely as if confused by where he was.

Jungkook smiled, lifting Jimin gently into his lap "Hey there" he said softly brushing a stray lock of hair out of Jimin's face

Jimin yawned adorably his cheeks flushed. "Jungkook I'm...tired" he mumbled, still half-asleep as he nuzzled closer to Jungkook's chest.

"I know You've been through so much. Rest if you need to" Jungkook whispered.

"The fire...the fire stop?" he said softly as he looked up at Jungkook

Jungkook nodded. "The fire brigade was on their way. I'm sure they'll handle it"

Jimin sighed in relief, resting his head on Jungkook's chest "What... what happens now? Are you going back to Seoul?"

"Yes and you are coming with me. I won't take no from you" Jungkook said his voice gentle but firm.

Jimin's eyes widened in shock, his entire body tensing in Jungkook's lap. "W-What? No... I can't go to Seoul. Humans... they're dangerous. They'll hurt me. I can't."

Jungkook's heart sank as he saw the fear in Jimin's eyes.

"Jimin, listen to me. I promise, no one will hurt you. I'll keep you safe. You don't have to be afraid and after everything that happened today you can't expect me to leave you here alone" he said as he cupped Jimin's face in his hands.

But Jimin shook his head, his voice trembling. "You don't understand, Jungkook. Humans are bad. They... they hunt creatures like me. They've hurt my kind before. I can't go with you. I'm scared."

Jungkook's chest tightened as Jimin's fear washed over him. He pulled Jimin into a hug, his arms wrapping around him protectively.

"Shh, it's okay" he whispered, his hand rubbing gentle circles on Jimin's back. "You're strong, Jimin. You're magical. No human can hurt you. And I'll be there, always, to protect you"

Jimin hide his face in jungkook's neck trying to hold his tears.

"Will you tell me what exactly happened that you are so scared of?" Jungkook asked making Jimin shock and look up at him with wide eyes

"It's okay please tell me I'm here and you are totally safe my baby" Jungkook is kissing Jimin's lips and cheeks softly.

Jimin look down not wanting to reveal his past. He is scared to even think about those painful memories. But he also wants to share his pain seek some comfort. If he tells Jungkook everything will he feel relaxed and little light?
