3 Days Later

For the past three days Jungkook is feeling uneasy as the same thing is happening again like before

Every night, Mimi would be in his arms, cuddling up against his chest. And every morning, without fail Jimin would somehow appear nestled comfortably where Mimi had been.

It was as if Mimi disappeared into the night and Jimin took his place.
He couldn’t make sense of it.

After all Jimin was just a beautiful boy and Mimi was a wild animal.

There was no connection between them... or so he thought.

Tonight he had decided to find out the truth.

Mimi was currently curled up in his arms. Jungkook lay still pretending to be in deep sleep.

He wanted to know— needed to know how Mimi and Jimin were connected.

Minutes passed, and the soft snores from the fox made the night feel calm. But then, Mimi stirred. The little fox’s head lifted from Jungkook’s chest, and its eyes blinked sleepily as it looked up at him.

Jungkook kept his breathing steady, careful not to move. He felt Mimi’s gaze on him, sharp and observing. The little fox was far too intelligent for a regular animal. Something about the way Mimi was looking at him made Jungkook’s suspicions grow even more.

Mimi’s ears twitched, and then, just as Jungkook had suspected, the fox wiggled out of his arms. Jungkook’s heart raced as he felt the tiny paws leave his chest.

But then Mimi froze.

The fox’s nose twitched and its sharp eyes glanced up at Jungkook who held his breath, knowing he had been caught. His eyelashes must have betrayed him, twitching as he tried to keep his eyes shut.

Damn it!

Mimi stared at him for a long moment, its small body tensed as if deciding what to do. Then, without warning, the fox turned and jumped out of the window, disappearing into the darkness.

Jungkook’s eyes shot open, his heart hammering in his chest. He sat up quickly, looking toward the open window where Mimi had escaped.

“Mimi…!?” he called to the empty night in panic.

But before he could move he heard the familiar sounds he loves the most.

Jimin’s adorable giggling sounds.

Jungkook’s eyes widened in shock as Jimin suddenly appeared climbing gracefully through the window.

“Jungkook! I’m back!” Jimin exclaimed jumping into Jungkook’s arms with a wide smile
