the Red-room curse

The red room curse is a popular internet-legend about a red pop up Ad.While browsing the internet there will be a pop up text shown saying "あなたは～好きですか" which can be translated to "Do you like?" and if you try to close it there would be another text basically asking if you like the red room.The screen will then turn red and list all the victims. After reading that the target would feel a strong presence behind them and pass out. They would then be found dead in their home with the walls red, hence the name.

A famous story where i'm from is that One day two school boys were coming home from school and stopped by a convenience store to buy snacks.They overheard their schoolmates talk about the disappearance of a Schoolmate, who went missing a few weeks ago and got found in his room with red blood all over and a crack in his skull and a text on his computer that said "the Red room". The two boys overheard that and one said that they should try the website.That night one of the boys called the other and decided to search it.He was on call with the other boy but suddenly hung up. The next day he was found dead with blood everywhere...

How to survive?

Don't search it and if you do, don't be alone in your room.
