SYNOPSIS
The peaceful town of Nueva Aurora was rattled by a series of baffling murders that sent shockwaves through the community. Lorraine Adriella de Verra, PhD, a science teacher with a long-held ambition to become a crime investigator, and her newly acquainted co-teacher in chemistry, Zane Nuñez, MAEd, found themselves entangled in a chilling case that defied explanation. Hearts had been surgically removed from the bodies of the victims—women from various corners of the city—leaving the police baffled and desperate for answers regarding the identity of the murderer and the motives behind such gruesome acts. They were resolute in their determination to uncover any missing links.
As they delved deeper into the investigation, the enigmatic past of L.A.V. began to surface, revealing motives that hinted at a personal connection to the mysteries they were trying to solve. The emerging link would challenge the dynamic between the two partners, testing their bond as they faced mounting danger. All the while, a far more sinister presence lurked in the shadows, patiently awaiting the moment to strike as Raine’s game end towards oblivion.
