Agent Blanc and Agent Red both left the kidnapped kids' quarters. Confusion and discomfort were evident from their facial expressions.

"We found nothing. Are you sure she wasn't trolling us?"

"My sister may be unbearable, but she wouldn't go this far. Either the stowaway was well hidden or there's a malfunction in the system. I'd like to believe in the latter."

"I understand she's your twin, but a malfunction in the system would mean we all get in trouble. Be careful what you wish for."

"Whatever you say."

-

The two agents arrived at the control room. Waiting for them was a woman with similar features to Agent Red. This was her twin sister who ranks higher than her, Agent Rouge.

"We didn't find anyone there," Blanc scoffed

"Hm? That's odd. The logs clearly show that someone else snuck in." Rouge's puzzled face surprised Blanc. She showed a hologram to the two agents. The movements of each test subject had been tracked. But among them, one particular subject had been labeled with question marks.

"I'm sure the sensors in each section were just made too sensitive. You remember that  last time in Hong Kong when they kept picking up the movements of flies, right?" Blanc tries to find an excuse for the current wonder.

"We'll, we can't rule that out either. But if someone really snuck in, we need to tighten security around their quarters," Red suggested.

"I agree. We can't take any chances,"Rouge nodded. "Alright. I'll leave you to your work then. Sorry for the trouble."

With that, Rouge left the control room.

"...huh. She was oddly reasonable today," Blanc sighed.

"Let's have some rest. We can think of a solution tomorrow." Red waved and opened a hidden entrance on the wall.

"...sigh. Yeah. Goodnight."

-

It was 8:22 AM. Blanc and Red were delivering food to the children as usual. They opened the door.

"...what're you doing?" Blanc immediately asked.

All the children were hurdled in one corner of the room. Then they heard his voice, they all turned around.

"I asked a question! What're you hiding back there?!"

"Is it the stowaway?" he thought. Red closed the door and the two agents slowly approached the children.

...but as they approached, a shadow snuck away through the door that was thought to be closed. The security bots behind the door did not see it as it walked past them.

When the shadow left, the children relaxed a little more. The agents pushed them to reveal what they were hiding.

"..."

It was just a game. But why would they hide this? With that in mind, Blanc confiscated the PDA and sighed.

He looked around a little more, his glasses scanning each child carefully.

"The stowaway isn't here..."

Red sighed as well and decided to quickly finish her business with the kids.

-

"What exactly were they up to?" Red said as they left the room. "Is there something on that device?"

Blanc browsed through the PDA.

"Can't find anything. I'll hack into it later. It's not impossible for them to have found a way out given how smart they are."

"...wait, are you saying..."

"Yes. We're giving them too much freedom."

The two nodded at each other.

"Then it's settled," Blanc smiled.

"Indeed. We shall shift the experiment to today."
