The car stopped in front of the huge Iron doors of the mansion. Ariel who was resting till now opened her eyes and looked outside the window.
Her eyes were emotionless as she stared at the familiar sight of the mansion.
The guards opened the door allowing the car inside and the mansion kept getting bigger in Ariel's eyes. However, nothing could be seen on her face.
When the car stopped again, the men and the woman stepped out of the car. One of the men went to open the door for Ariel but before he could do so, Ariel had already done it.
Once outside the car, she looked at the man and said coldly.
"Where is he?"
The man looked at his fellow colleagues and said a moment later.
"Miss Ariel, Nyla will take you inside the mansion and you will be told when Mr. Mintz would be ready to talk to you."
A cold chuckle escaped Ariel's lips.
"You think everyone has free time like you to wait for him. Unfortunately I don't have any such free time. If he wishes to meet me, meet me now only. Otherwise I am leaving."
The man frowned not liking how Ariel was behaving.
"Miss Ariel, Mr. Mintz is slightly occupied. As soon as he gets free, you will be informed."
Ariel looked at the man with raised eyebrow. It seems that everyone here has difficulty in understanding her language.
Whatever!
She didn't care.
It's just that she will miss out on all the entertainment. Releasing a disappointing sigh, Ariel turned to leave.
Just like the previous time, one of the men blocked her way but this time, Ariel didn't have any patience.
She grabbed the man's hand that blocked her way and twisted it behind his back making him groan loudly.
Within a few seconds, the man's head was against the car's bonnet and his hand was twisted behind his back which was held by Ariel. As she pushed his head against the car's bonnet, she looked at the other people present.
"If you people love your bones then better not block my way."
The men looked at each other. The security guards who were guarding the entrance door noticed this scene and had already come there. When one of them stepped forward to fight Ariel, a man stepped forward and shook his head at him.
The security guard looked unwilling but stepped back after a moment of contemplation. Ariel realized that that man was their superior.
It was the same man who had been talking to her quite politely until now. And she had responded the same way until she could.
"Miss Ariel, Could you please give me a minute? I will go inside and tell you the situation."
The same man said to Ariel. Ariel didn't really wish to wait.
She had thought that she would feel nothing on seeing everything all over again. But this was not true. The past memories made her feel all the anguish again.
Her insides were burning. All she wished was to burn down everything. This mansion, those people living inside it and everything related to them.
The only thing that stopped her was her grandmother.
Because if she did such a thing, she knew the repercussions as well. Unfortunately, she couldn't afford those repercussion right now.
Ariel said in the same emotionless voice.
"Alright"
The man sighed in relief when he saw that Ariel released his man.
After that, he silently went inside the mansion.
Nyla who saw all this was looking at Ariel with anger filled eyes. But she was wise enough not to say anything. Keeping her mouth shut, she silently went inside the mansion.
She must tell all this to Madam!
This girl! She needs to be controlled.
.
.
.
Almost five minutes later, the man returned and said to Ariel.
"Miss Ariel, please come inside with me. Madam is ready to meet you right now."
Something flickered in Ariel's eyes when she heard the word 'Madam'. She stood silently for a second before following the man inside the mansion.
As she stepped inside the huge mansion, Ariel didn't look around at all. Her eyes stared straight ahead. It looked as if she was on some sort of mission.
She was taken inside a living room where the man asked her to sit on the sofa.
Ariel did all this quite obediently making the man feel relieved.
However, as more five minutes passed and no one came inside the living room, Ariel's patience started running out. Finally, she stood up and said"I need to leave now. I have a job to go to."
However, as soon as she had taken a step, she heard a voice.
"What is the hurry? And hurrying for a job that gives you meager of hundred dollars. Tsk tsk...who would have thought that Miss Wilster's daughter would be running around for hundred dollars in future!"
A cold glint flashed across Ariel's eyes when she heard the words.
She looked towards the stairs from where a woman was descending. Ariel recognized her step-mother very well.
Replying to her words, she smirked in mockery and said
"Atleast I or my mother never had to seduce rich men or lure them with our bodies. I actually feel pity for you. The age is getting on you now. You can't even flash those saggy breasts anymore. Does he give you enough to eat or wear even now?"
Ines who was walking gracefully stopped. Her face was red in anger when she realized how Ariel insulted her. Even the man who was present inside the living room looked shocked but to hide his expression, he bowed his head respectfully.
"You b**t**d daughter...."
"Ah! You should better know which daughter is really bastard, Ines!"
Ariel smiled playfully when she said these words interrupting Ines while the latter trembled in anger.
These few seconds were however enough for Ines to realize that Ariel was no longer the same girl.
It was not as easy to deal with her as she had thought.
Putting aside her anger, Ines remembered her purpose and said
"You have been called here for a purpose. So we better talk about that."
"And here I thought I would get to throw some more insults at you."
Ines took a deep breath to swallow inside all the anger she was feeling. The only reason she was enduring all this was because she needed this girl.
Once the work would be done, she would make sure that Ariel would beg for her forgiveness.
