Ava's eyes locked onto Ryder's, a spark of defiance igniting within her.

"Let's finish this," she echoed, her voice steady.

Victor's face twisted in rage.

"Fools," he spat. "You think you can defeat me? I have the power, the resources—"

Ryder's laughter cut him off.

"Power is just an illusion, Victor. And resources can be taken away."

With a swift motion, Ryder snatched the device from Victor's hand, crushing it beneath his heel.

"No!" Victor bellowed, his eyes wide with panic.

Ava felt a surge of triumph.

"We're taking back control," she said, her voice firm.

Jean stepped forward, a quiet strength emanating from her.

"We'll expose your secrets, Victor. Your lies, your manipulations—"

Victor's face contorted in a snarl.

"You'll never win," he hissed. "I have allies, powerful allies—"

Ryder's smile grew wider.

"We'll take them down too."

Ava's heart pounded in her chest.

"This is just the beginning," she said, her voice filled with determination.

Ava's eyes blazed with determination as she turned to Ryder. "We need to take him down, once and for all."

Ryder's jaw clenched in agreement. "I'm with you, Ava. Let's do it."

Finn's eyes widened in caution. "Guys, are you sure? Victor's not someone to mess with."

Ava's expression turned cold, her voice dripping with venom. "I'm not afraid of him, Finn. I'm going to take him down, no matter what it takes."

Ryder's eyes flashed with admiration. "That's the spirit, Ava. Let's do this."

As they began to make plans, Ava felt a sense of purpose wash over her. She was finally taking control of her life, finally standing up to the people who had manipulated and controlled her for so long.

But as they delved deeper into the project's database, Ava realized that Victor was just the tip of the iceberg. There were others involved, others who would stop at nothing to keep their secrets safe.

"We need to be careful," Ryder said, his voice low and urgent. "We don't know who we can trust."

Ava nodded, her eyes scanning the room. She knew that they were taking a risk, but she was willing to do whatever it took to uncover the truth.

Just then, Ava's phone rang, shrill in the silence. She hesitated, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Answer it," Ryder said, his eyes locked onto hers.

Ava took a deep breath, her hand trembling as she picked up the phone.

"Hello?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Ava," Victor's voice dripped with malice. "I see you're still playing hero."

Ava's heart skipped a beat. "What do you want, Victor?"

Victor chuckled, the sound sending shivers down Ava's spine. "I want you to know that you're no match for me, Ava. I'll always be one step ahead."

Ava's eyes locked onto Ryder's, a fierce determination burning within her. "We'll see about that," she spat.
