When the team came to, they found themselves in a strange, futuristic room. The walls were lined with holographic screens, and the air hummed with energy.

Elijah's voice boomed from everywhere and nowhere. "Welcome, team. I see you're awake. I've been waiting."

Ava struggled to her feet. "What have you done, Elijah?"

Elijah's laughter echoed through the room. "I've transcended humanity. I've become something more."

Ryder's eyes narrowed. "What are you now?"

Elijah's response was a holographic display of his new form - a being of pure energy, pulsing with power.

Sophia whispered, "He's not human anymore."

Jean's face set in determination. "We have to stop him. Before he's too powerful to stop."

But Elijah just laughed again. "You can't stop me. I am the future. And I will not be silenced."

And with that, the team knew they were in for the fight of their lives...

Elijah's laughter echoed through the room, growing louder and more maniacal. The team covered their ears, but it didn't help. The sound was inside their minds.

Ava shouted, "We have to get out of here!"

Ryder nodded. "Find a way to shut him down!"

Sophia's eyes scanned the room frantically. "There has to be a weakness!"

Jean spotted a console in the corner. "I'll try to hack into the system!"

As Jean worked, Elijah's laughter grew louder still. The team stumbled, their minds reeling.

Suddenly, Sophia stumbled forward. "I think I know how to stop him!"

Ava turned to her. "What is it?"

Sophia's eyes shone with determination. "We need to create a resonance wave to disrupt his energy frequency!"

Ryder nodded. "Let's do it!"

But Elijah just laughed again. "You'll never stop me. I am the future!"

Ryder shouted, "Jean, can you hack into the console to generate the resonance wave?"

Jean's fingers flew across the keyboard. "I'm trying, but Elijah's defenses are strong!"

Sophia's eyes locked onto the console. "I'll help him!"

Together, Sophia and Jean worked their magic. The console beeped, and a low hum filled the room.

Elijah's laughter faltered. "No... you can't..."

Ava yelled, "Now!"

The team covered their ears as the resonance wave blast shook the room. Elijah's energy form flickered, destabilizing.

Ryder shouted, "Again!"

The team repeated the process, each blast weakening Elijah further.

Finally, with a last, triumphant cry, the team generated a wave that shattered Elijah's energy form into a thousand pieces.

The room fell silent.

The team stood panting, victorious but scarred.

Ava whispered, "It's over."

Ryder nodded. "We saved humanity."

Sophia's eyes gleamed with tears. "But at what cost?"

Jean's face was grim. "We'll rebuild. Together."
