Part 4-A steamy night😏

"Ugh, this headache is killing me"

Poppy lay on her bed, groaning with a headache that was plagueing her for the last hour. After her *long kissing scenario* ahem- I mean a *good time* with branch, she came back to her house and had been working on some papers for her queenly duties,when the "worst headache"of her life hit her like a wave.

For the past hour,she had been rolling around on the bed wishing that it would go away. Finally not being able to take it anymore,she leaped off the bed and wrapped the scarf she had worn this morning around her, went out of her pod and made her way through the darkness towards branch's bunker.

The village was all dark now with not a troll in sight,so she softly stepped on the grass and reached branch's bunker in record time(because of the headache)

She knocked on the walls hard enough for branch to listen, but the thumping made it feel like she was hitting her head instead with a brick.
Inside,after a while, she heard a door creak open and the elevator zooming upwards to reveal..

Branch was in his robe and he was staring at her quite concerned. Poppy got to the point before he could ask:-"I have a bad headache"

Branch:-"all right, come on in, don't stand out there, it's cold already from the rain"

Poppy obliged and went down the elevator, branch in front of her.
She wondered whether he was wearing pants underneath that robe-
"What am I thinking?"

As the elevator came down,branch stretched his arms out, saying:-"wait here, I'm getting your medicine"
That's when, in the light,poppy saw branch's hair was wet and some glistening drops of water were still present on his face and hands. Oh God,he must have been showering! She blushed slightly,which branch saw;

He slowly pulled off his robe with poppy staring wide at him,and fortunately,(but also unfortunately), he was wearing brown boxers underneath,the middle part bulging.
Poppy averted her eyes as her face became tomato red. Branch just smirked and said:-"I'll bring the medicine"

He went off to his room and poppy heaved a sigh of relief. Her face had become less redder than it was but she knew it would be the same condition again when branch was around her again.

Branch came back with a pill and gave it to poppy, along with a glass of water.

Poppy dunked it down a bit too hard and coughed violently, leading branch to start patting on her back. But the pill did not go down and branch had to give her the heimlich maneuver,making poppy go extra red because she could feel him bulging underneath her.

After they got the flimsy pill situation under control,poppy averted her eyes yet again and branch, smirking, asked her to come with him to his room.

"Umm..why?"

"I was thinking...can you give me a massage before you go? I feel kinda tired"

Poppy went beet red and stuttered :- "I..umm.. Yea--ig.."

Branch:-"Perfect"

Branch came up to his bed and patted the seat next to him gesturing poppy to sit down,and when she did,he laid down on his back,groaning as if he were in pain.

Poppy, successfully keeping her blushing under control, put two warm fingers on his back and pressed it.
An unusual sound came out from branch -- which she longed to hear again. A smirk of hers came on her face and she pressed two practised hands along his spine sliding it down his back. Branch, on the other hand, had been trying to make poppy blush(because he liked her face blushing as red as ever when he was around)but he didn't guess for a minute that he actually needed a massage and boy, was she giving a *good* one.
