-Sometimes, your words can come out like the burning feeling you can get when you put your freezing hands under hot water. But I'd still tolerate the feeling that rushes through me after I apply the soap over it - your reassurance and comfort when I need it. I would let the boiling tap run as sometimes it could warm me up instead of making me feel uneasy, depending on how predictable it is. Usually not, but I'm slowly getting used to it.
After countless times of washing the soap off, I remember those times that it stayed for a while.
The sensation of the water lingers, but I don't mind it as long as I just ignore it - for the most part. I don't dare question it either, you don't know where it's been and how long it had to travel to get to wherever it was now.
And I'm proud of it for that, for everything despite the cold contrast that it could give me sometimes on my heart.
