The next day, Y/N spent hours in the kitchen testing different cheesecake recipes. She wasn't one to settle for the first version, not when it had to be flawless. She'd perfected her cheesecake over the years, but today it felt like nothing was quite right. The crust was either too thick, the filling wasn't creamy enough, or the lemon zest overpowered the delicate balance.
She paused for a moment, catching a glimpse of her reflection in the shiny mixer bowl. Her face was smeared with cream cheese, and her hair had flour dusted in it. She looked a mess, but she didn't care. Han Jisung was known for his passion, his perfectionism in music, and she wanted to meet that same level of dedication with this cake.
After several failed attempts, she finally nailed it. The cheesecake was light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. The crust was buttery and crisp, and the subtle tang of lemon added just the right amount of freshness. She stood back, admiring her creation. "This is the one," she said to herself, grinning in satisfaction.
She carefully placed the cheesecake in its box, tied it with a neat ribbon, and attached a small note: "I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it. – Y/N"
