"Past, present, and future all tell different stories and outcomes in this story.
This is a story of tragedy, loss, and success which was foretold through the experiences of The Chosen One, Rose Potter. This had been told as stories, and Rose Potter's destiny and place in the world had already been set in stone. The game had been played. The gods had rolled the dice in the one game of destiny, and the mortals would pay the price.
It was already over. Not even the strongest magic could change it.
Rose Potter's real-life story is one about love and loss, courage and betrayal, corruption and treachery, death and sacrifice. It tells the uprising hope of the light side of wizarding magic to win one seemingly everlasting War.
Rose Potter was The Chosen One.

It is the story of the light vs the dark and the eventual prevail of hope.
However, not all stories have happy endings with loss. The strange thing about stories is that the ending always stays the same, nothing can be done to change that.
Although this may not have happened not too long ago that did not mean it was over. It may have been over, but endings have more to come. It was happening right now as the time went by.
Peace may have come into play for some, but there was only devastation and loss that had led to many being corrupted in a hunt for vengeance. Everyone thought who fought in this war thought that it couldn't be changed. But they were wrong...endings could and would be rewritten.
This was not the end.
This is because as a new day dawned in the year 1996, a new chance came to light to save all that was lost.
Destiny and Tate can be changed because endings don't have to stay the same.
There would be a new ending.
A/N. If you didn't notice yet, I did take some inspiration from Star Wars Revenge of the Sith novel opening monologue, but added my own twist and stuff. It did fit the vibe I was going for.
