It was dinnertime at Hogwarts, and many had just come back from Spring holiday and every teacher and student alike were sitting in the Great Hall having their dinner.
One of these students was Rose Potter, well her actual name was Rosette, but her friends shortened it to Rose, and her boyfriend, Fred Weasley, of one year, liked to call her Rosie. He was the only one who called her that. They had gotten together during her fourth year at Hogwarts, but many saw it long coming. Over the years Fred had flirted with her, and she too, but he never had the guts to ask her out, well not until last year of course. It happened naturally during the Yule Ball, and it was the best time to do it, Fred kind of blurted his feelings out, which startled Rose, but she was happy, nevertheless.
After all Fred was one of the highlights in her life in these hard times at the moment.
You see after the return of Voldemort the year prior; Rose had been having constant nightmares of Voldemort's return, Cedric's death, and the graveyard. She just could not get that place out of her head no matter how hard she tried.
She felt it was her fault that Cedric died, she and Cedric had grown to care for one another, and they had become good friends, but tragically that ended early.
Since Voldemort's return, hardly anyone at school believed her in the fact that he had returned. They all had become ignorant of it and made sure that she knew. They all had armies against her, and she only had the support and sympathy of her closest friends, Ron and Hermione, and a few other friends like Neville, Ginny, George, Luna, and of course her boyfriend Fred. There were also some people in the DADA club she ran, but that ratio hardly made a dent in how many people did not believe her.
Her reputation had been tarnished by the ministry and many students at Hogwarts believed the daily prophet and their idea saying that she was a liar. It was like a thorn in her back, it was constant, people whispered and glared at her, not wanting to be associated with 'the girl who lies' who was also deemed as stupid, bitter, and delusional.
They remained ignorant of the devastating problem, and Rose knew that Voldemort was getting more powerful by the day.
Sirius and Remus were aware of this as it had been printed on the Daily Prophet many times as well as telling it to them in her letters, however, she downplayed this as she did not want them to worry about her.
Rose was the spitting image of Lily and James, and she was fairly beautiful. She had long raven almost black hair that ran down her back and big jewel-green eyes that she had inherited from her mother. It was not just her looks that were like her late parents, but her personality too. She had a knack for breaking the rules like her father, but this was only when needed. Moreover, she was kind and sweet like to mother, yet also rather sassy, charming, and witty like both her parents according to Sirius and Remus.
Her boyfriend Fred was a prankster. He might have broken even more school rules than her. However, this did not stop his charming nature which Rose got the majority of. However, much of it was given to his twin George too.
Sirus and Remus truly saw the Potters come to life in them, it was almost like they were reborn in thought, although they did have their differences.
Recently, a nasty toad-like woman had taken over Hogwarts. Her name was Delores Umbridge, or Umbitch as Rose liked to call her. She had made many students miserable with her presence, well that was except for some Slytherins and other students.
Suddenly the doors slammed open and in walked in Molly, Arthur, Percy, Remus, Tonks, Moody, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Fudge, Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy nee Black, and Amelia Bones.
The hall suddenly filled with screams at the occurrence of the so-called mass murderer Sirius Black.
"ITS SIRIUS BLACK" many students yelled in fright.
