"Babe? Can you do it? I don't want to remember."I ask, looking at my boyfriend. He bends down in front of me. "Of course, Baby. Piece by piece, remember?" I nodded and tear up as he mentioned the promise we made when we were younger.

"I'll keep filling those holes. You won't have to deal with it again. I promise my love." He says as he holds my face. I start crying.

"I love you so much, Aki."

"I love you too, Zuku. I won't let that happen, I swear on my life." I let him hug me close, as my mind is filled with how that piece of shit caregiver mistreated me.

"It's in your head again, isn't it?" I nod as he rubs my back, starting to rock me slightly.

"It's okay, love. I'm right here. Aki's right here."

Mama looks at Dad before walking over.

"Ede? What's got you upset?" I tug on Akio's shirt for him to tell Mom.

"He has trauma with his tube. Someone, I'm not saying who, hurt him intentionally while disconnecting." I start sobbing as he speaks.

"Shh, it's okay." Akio whispers.

"I need you to calm down, love. I have to disconnect you and check your sugar. I'll let you sit on my lap after." I manage to calm down after a few minutes.

"Okay, M'ready."

Akio let go of me and got gloves on. "Good job. Remember what to do?"

"Hero face, brave bunny, Hero quotes."

"That's right because, say it with me."

"It's going to be over in two seconds, Hunny." Uncle Denki chuckles.

"You two are such fanboys." I giggle as I'm disconnected and capped off. I smile at my boyfriend as he checks my sugar.

"Am I good?"

"Yeah. A bit low, you want something?"

"Sure."

"That's good because I have your favorite."

"How?"

"I came prepared." Akio opens his bag, removes a small insulated pouch, and pulls out strawberry Ramune.

"I was going to open it when we went up to your room for the night, but I guess now is perfect." I chuckle.

"How did I get so lucky to get a guy like you?"

"Because I'm not an abuser, coward, or toxic. Oh, and I'm sexy as hell."

"I think you're right~" We chuckle as Akio opens the drink and gives me a sip.

"Oof. That's sweet. Is it the normal one?"

"No, they didn't have the normal one at the shop, so I had to grab this one on the way to school."

"It's okay, but my sugar is up, so I can't drink anymore though."

"It's okay, we'll just save it for when you're low again." I smile as he sits back down.

"Sorry about that, everyone."

"It's okay, little listener. That was really sweet to watch." Papa Mic spoke, sitting in front of me for his turn.

"You can probably guess what it is. I actually got all of you kids this, but here are you two's." I start giggling when opening it.

"Headphones, for your lessons."

Akio snickered. "I respect you for keeping to the bit, but Papa, you forget we're your grandkids. We grew up with your quirk."

"True, but I thought you could use them during my class and listen to music because you all know the curriculum like the back of your hand. Eco and Uncle Ken have agreed to it as well."

I smirk and look at Akio. "MCR first thing in the morning?" I ask.

"Hell yeah."  Auntie Jirou and Uncle Toko shed a tear of pride at or music choice.

"Awesome. Now if we could convince Nezu about the dress code, everything will be perfect." Uncle Nezu popped out of Grandzawa's scarf.

"No need for that, my prodige. You only had to wear it today because your parents wanted pictures. You and your cousins can wear whatever you want as long as it's not too inappropriate." I gasped.

"I can wear my letterman jackets! Babe, we can wear those hoodies we've been dying to wear together!" Akio chuckles.

"Yes, we can. You're so cute when you're excited." I blush and nuzzle into him.

"I'm just glad I get to be comfortable in my second home. Nezu really needs to contact Uncle Jeanest."

"That's a great idea, Diene." Nezu blurts before disappearing. Auntie Tsu came up and handed me a pin.

"This is from us aunties, Kero. If you need one of us, just press it and say our name. It'll send us a signal to our hero."

"Thank you, aunties!" Uncle Shin and Kami take their turn.

"For our soon-to-be son-in-law, we're giving you directions to the most quiet spots in the U.S. So you two can cuddle alone while studying." I nod, nuzzling more into my boyfriend. Thankfully, my parents are the last to give me a present. They handed me a hero case that was open to show my hero suit that I wanted and had designed.

"We sent in our old suits and had the company make one out of them for you. So you'll always have us near, even with your dad there with you." Mama explains. I jump up and hug him.

"I love it, Mama. Thank you. I would cry, but I'm exhausted."

"It's ok, sweetie. Go eat and head to bed. You have a big day tomorrow. It's battle training." I nod, then pull away.

"I'll heat up my leftover katsudon. You wanna share Hun?"

"Sure, then up to bed. Yelling today wore me out."

"Same. Oh Grandpa! We get to stay in our building, right?"

"Yes, but Nezu had revelations done, so all buildings are connected via bridge now."

I nod as his phone starts going off with texts. "Let me guess, someone with a stick in the ass reporting that the ten of us are'missing'?"

"Yep, I'm just going to let them freak out."

"Don't expect us to be awake during class tomorrow."

"Not to worry. As soon as Papa finishes, you guys can go to your room and listen to class through there."

"You're the best, Grandzawa."

"Anything for my grandchildren."

"Thanks for coming, everyone. And the gifts." We all give each other hugs, and soon the only people in the house are our parents, me and Aki. Akio's parents were staying the night because Uncle Kami is joining our training tomorrow.
