Present Time:
It's when everyone gathers in the living room with Mama that I'm mentally prepared to make my announcement in front of everyone. I hold onto my dad's hand, close my eyes, then speak. "Ok. Everyone, can I have your attention, please?" The gazes of my audience are now fixed on me. "The reason why Mama brought you inside is because I have to tell you all something. Now, I don't know if you noticed by the onesies I've been wearing, or when I was yelling at that monster at the waterpark, but I'm trans now. You're so much better than that flaming pile of trash. He's the worst... But you're the best, Dad!" My embrace is promoted to a bear hug."I...can't breathe," Dad gasps, so I swiftly--but reluctantly--retract my arms from him. "Looks like someone inherited their Mama's strength." He shoots a smirk at Mama, to which Mama laughs sheepishly at. "But I think we know who our Sugarplum got his looks from," Mama chuckles, planting a kiss on Dad's forehead.I now avert my attention towards....
