Chapter 17: First Day At U.A Part Five

Akio and I cuddle with each other as Hiroshi speaks. "Hey, does anyone want to see what our parents are up to?"
Present Time:
We all nod as our answer due to us being tired because we stayed up late talking to each other over video chat. I grab my phone and connect it to the projector and put the hero news on. As we're watching our parents fight the forces of evil, I get a call on my phone. I disconnect the device from the projector and motion for Akio to connect his instead. The caller ID was 'My Icythot Dad'. I answer. "Hey, Sweetie, it's time for Uncle Ectoplasm's Mathematics Introduction, then It's time for Heroics. Can you guys come back to the classroom?" he asks. "Sure. We were just watching Hero News," I reply. "Why are you watching the hero news?" he Inquires. "We were watchIng Mama and the rest of the aunts and uncles working," I answer. "Oh. Ok, I'll see ya soon, Sugarcane," he says. "Kay. Bye, Dad." I end the call and scruff Scar behind the ears. "Hey guys, Dad called and said it's time to go back to the classroom," I speak. "Do you think we could bring our blankets in? It's literally Antarctica in there," Ren inquires, shivering. "Sure. I mean, it's not the weirdest thing the class is going to see. Also, I'm bringing Scar in with me," I respond to Ren. Ren nods in response to my answer. I bend down to Scar and put on his mask that's connected to his collar. Scar has a mask because he has a history of attacking new people he meets. I wear a mask similar to his so he doesn't feel weird--I also wear it because I get self-conscious of my scar. I put my mask on as well and clip Scar's leash on and walk out of the room to next door with The Devils behind me. I have Akio open the door since my arms are full; I'm carrying Scar's leash handle, my phone, and my blanket. As we walk in, we continue talking about what we were talking about before Dad called, which was if Uncle Denki, Shinsou, and Aunt Uraraka and Toga could defeat a sword type villain. "I don't know Naoyuki. It looked like they were in a pinch. Mom has already used his electric discs and Dad's quirk looked over-used. Aunt Uraraka already threw up, and Aunt Toga used up an hour already. It just doesn't look good for them." I reply with, "'Yeah, I have to agree. But guess who's going to come in and save the day?" Naoyuki fake inquiries. I then butt in with: "Deku, the best mama in the world." The Devils giggle and laugh. "Oh come on, guys. You know how much I love Mama," I state, but that just makes them laugh harder and me more pissed off. "Oh shut up, screw off, and listen to Uncle Ectoplasm's speech he's been trying to give us for about thirty minutes," I snap. I sit down in my seat and Scar jumps on my lap, which instantly makes me happier. I motion for the teacher to continue. As he talks, I don't listen to it because it was his turn to watch me last weekend, and he practiced on me, so I just sit in my seat petting my cat. I keep petting Scar until I hear the door open. I look up and see that Grandpa Shouta walked through the door.
