Previously on The Todobakudeku Child:
I avert my attention to Mocha. "So, tell me something, Mocha. Do you remember a kid named Diana?"
Present Time:
I see realization appear on her face. "Deka?" she asks. Deka is a female version of my Mama's childhood name "Deku"  that was given to him by Uncle Bakugou. It still means useless. "Hey, look at that, you remember me!" I say with sarcasm in my voice. "It's been so long. How've you been?" she asks, as if we're best buddies again. "Cut the bullshit. I don't want to hear it," I talk back. "Anyway," my attention goes back to the class, "this old man over here is the number two hero--my father and our assistant teacher, Shoto Todoroki. When you want to address him, please call him Mr. Todoroki," I introduce. I sit down in my seat and pop a stick of gum into my mouth; it's my favorite flavor, peppermint. Aunt Nemuri starts speaking. "Well, I will let you have the rest of the class period as free time. Don't get crazy." I text Dad:
Izuku Diene- Hey Dad! Can The Devils go to Our Room?
Dad- Sure I'll text you when you guys should come in.
Izuku Diene- Ok thank you Dad.
My squad has our own room in the school, in case we--the Toga sons: Sachi, Akira and myself--slip in little space or we need to change our clothes since some of us are non binary, and I'm trans. I signal my friends that it's ok to head out. I stand up and go to our room, which is next to the staff room and Uncle Nezu's Office. I sit down on the big curved couch and continue chewing my gum as my squad assembles around me. Akio picks me up, sits me on his lap, and kisses my temple. "Glad to see you're ok, Zuk," Naoyuki Toga, one of Aunt Uraraka and Toga's four sons, says. I thank him. "Thank you, Yuk," he replies. "I wonder who gets to throw the ball first? Ribbit." Sachi, who's Aunt Mina and Aunt Tsu's daughter, wonders, sitting on her partner Ren Tokoyami, who is Uncle Sero and Tokoyami's child. "Probably none of us since we've all done the exercises. We're all basically third years thanks to the adults we know here, as well as our parents. We just haven't done the paperwork, even though we are smart enough." Akira Iida--the child of Uncle Iida and Aunt Hatsumei--says intelligently. Akira is the second smartest out of our group due to their parents being super smart. They're chill, thanks to our group. We would have lost them if we didn't help them find chill five years ago. The Ashed and Depressed Devils would all be gone if it wasn't for me stopping Akira from taking their life that day. You see, we've made a pack, so if one of us is found dead, the rest of us will follow--that's how tight our friendship is. Our friendship is so tight because we are born one month apart from each other. I'm the oldest and Hiroshi is the youngest, me being born in July and Hiroshi the following February. "Hey guys, I have bad news," I tell them disappointedly. "What is it, Izuku Diene?" Naoko Kendo--Aunt Kendo and Uncle Moanama's daughter--ssks. "I won't be at the dorms tonight, and neither will Akio." The Devils start laughing, minus Akio. "Diene, we know. Your mama is just like Grandma Inko." I chuckle. "Do you think Uncle Nezu would get mad if I call Scar?" I ask. Scar is a grey stray Tabby cat with a scar on his left eye that I found a couple years ago and I adopted. "I don't think so," Naoki Toga replies. "Ok. Scar! Scar! Kitty, kitty. Here, Scar. Here, kitty, kitty." After I call him, I hear scratching at the door. Hiro gets up and opens the door, and sure enough, Scar comes running in and sits on my lap. "Hi, Scar. Did you miss me?" I baby talk to him. He meows back at me. I put his black spiked collar on him. Naoki shivers. "Brr. Isn't it a little bit cold in here?" he asks. We all nod our heads in agreement. Akio, Ren, and Toshiro get up from their seats and get blankets from the cabinet on the other side of the room. They hand us blankets and sit back down and share a blanket with their partners. Akio and I cuddle with each other as Hiroshi speaks. "Hey, does anyone want to see what our parents are up to?"
