Watching Them(part 1)

    "Chloe..?" 

    "Yes, Ash?" I answered, looking up from my phone. It was a hot summer day in Vermilion City.

    Ash twiddle his fingers embarrassingly, "Well.... I- wanna take Goh out on our second date..... But I don't know how or where.." His face was really bright red, "I am not good with romance, but I really want to.."

   I sat up straighter in my chair and pondered for a moment, "Well.. You two have been dating for?"

   "Three weeks, but we have been hanging out for three years."

   "I know that. Okay, how about you take him to an ice cream shop? Its really hot out, ill bet he will be grateful. And you can confront him saying 'Goh, do you want to go out with me to get icecream?'"

   Ash's face was still red ash he leaned in and hugged me, "Thanks, Chlo! That's a great idea!" Then he ran off.

   I gave a small smile as they both ran out the door, hand in hand. I couldn't help feeling jealous for my bestfriends. But at that moment, my rotom phone vibrated. I flipped it over and saw a text from Dawn. I read it.

Dawn: Hey, Chloe! Do you want to hang out this weekend? I am flying to Kanto to see Satoshi this week! 

   My cheeks went from beautiful milky white, to hot pink. I gasped. I don't know I why I like Dawn, and I can't help it. I knew I was a lesbian, and I can't help it. My fingers shook as I replied,

Chloe: Yeah! I would love to!

Dawn: Great! I'll see you then💁🏻‍♀️

   I set down the phone and sighed with a smile.
