Watching Them Part 2

   "Mom!!!" I screeched at the top of my lungs, "Can you please help?!" I whimpered. Dawn has been at the Cerise Laboratory for a couple of days, and today we are hanging out. But right now, my cherry blossom hair brush is stuck in my long hair.

   My mom bolted up the stairs, "Koharu?! Whats- oh.."

   "Can you please help me with my hair?!" I said, panicking.

   After a long period of her trying to get the hairbrush out, she braided my hair, and used a clip to pin it into a bun. My mom knows I'm gay, so she thinks its a date. If I wasn't cautious, and got excited, I probably would of thought so too. But I know Dawn only sees me as her friend.

   "Good luck, Honey" my mom said giving me a kiss on the cheek. 

   "Mom! This isn't a date or anything!" I groaned, feeling very embarrassed.

   "I know. I just wished it was easier for people like you to find someone. You know, with all the stress of trying to figure out if they are gay or not." She said, smoothing my hair, gently.

   I sighed, "I feel the same way, Mom. But I'll find someone. If not, I guess ill stick with Ash and Goh for the rest of my life." I giggled, "Them going on dates, and me trying to find time to hand out with them, but all they wanna do is kiss and cuddle.." I zoned out.

   "Dang, they are really in love..." My mom said.

   "Yup! Never seen anyone like them!" I looked up at her.

   "You don't need to find someone just like them right now, you have a whole life ahead of you! A whole world to explore! And someone wants to get to know you! Dawn seems like a really nice girl!" My mom smiled down at me.

   "She acts A LOT like Ash!" I laughed, "Maybe that's why they are bestfriends, but argue all the time!"

   "Try to make friends with her, don't focus on romance when something good is right in front of you" she smiled.

   "I wont!" I grinned
