Watching Them Part 3

   I walked down the street to the cafe, my white boots gently clattering on the concrete. I was starting to get nervous, I did think Dawn was very pretty... But she is straight. I know it. She has to be. 

    As I walked past a shop, I viewed my reflection in the window. I adjusted the hot-pink straps to my overall skirt. I looked nice, with my pale yellow stripped shirt with frilly sleeves. I played with a bit up my hair that sticks out, trying to get it back, but when I got it back it looked weird.

   Well I opened the cafe door, the bell ringed. I looked around, hoping to see Dawn's familiar face. I saw navy blue hair bounce as a pale girl leapt from a booth "Hey Chloe!" she waved her hand. My face grew a little pink when she acknowledged my coming in. She looked very beautiful, her hair in two small braids, and star clips on each braid. She wore a star-print shirt with an small opening on her collar bone, secured with a button so there was a little loop. She had denim shorts and white boots. 

   I walked over to her, waving my hand shyly. She slid out of the booth, and grasped my hands, "Hi Chloe! How have you been?" She grinned.

   I tried not to blush as I said, "I have been good! I have mostly been babysitting Ash and Goh!" I said with a small giggle, "How have you been?"

   Her grin grew bigger as she laughed, "That's so funny! I hope Ash hasn't been a trouble! He is very excited about everything!" She let go of my hands, and started expressing her emotions through her hands, "Anyways, I have been good! Me and my Piplup have been traveling around the Kalos region, participating in Pokemon Performances!" She smiled, as Piplup leapt from the table, landed on her shoulder, and nuzzled her cheek.

   "That's so fun!" I grinned, "I want to try those with my Eevee!" I said, clasping my hands together.

   She looked at the floor curiously, "Where is your Eevee, anyway?"

   I felt embarrassed, that I didn't take my Pokemon with me, "Oh! I left it at home at the Institute!" 

   She smiled, "Okay!"
