Few days later....

"Good morning," I whispered, gently caressing his hair.

"Morning," he replied in his -deep af- sleepy voice.

"Do you want to wake up?" I asked, chuckling.

"No, not today. It's Sunday, Roop. Let's just stay like this all day," he said, not lifting his head.

I laughed and continued to caress the nape of his neck. He leaned into my touch, crawled up to me, and kissed my neck before snuggling back into me. He nuzzled his face into my neck, drifting off to sleep again.

I chuckled, kissing his hair. "My sleepy baby," I cooed.

"Hmm," he snuggled deeper, smiling against my skin.

Just then, his phone started ringing. He groaned. I picked it up from the nightstand, and Deep's name flashed on the screen.

"Anirudh, Deep is calling," I said, answering the phone and holding it to his ear.

"What?" he barked, still half asleep.

Deep said something, and Anirudh hummed, not bothering to wake up. My hand started hurting, so I put the phone on speaker.

"Anything else you want me to do, sir?" Deep's voice echoed through the phone.

I was surprised that Deep was working on a Sunday and looked at Anirudh in disbelief, but he was too busy snuggling to notice.

"Go on a date with Meera, Deep," I said.

"Mam?" Deep replied.

"Yeah, go on a date. It's Sunday, and your arrogant boss is giving you work?" I said, raising an eyebrow.

Anirudh titled his face to look at me. He bit my neck, a little harder than necessary, and I put my hand over my mouth to stifle a moan. He grinned and placed a kiss on the same spot, and I glared at him.

"But, mam--" Deep protested.

"Do what your boss's boss is saying, Deep. Go on a date and put the work aside. It can be done tomorrow," Anirudh said, his voice firm but playful.

I smiled and blushed.

"Sir--" Deep began.

"Are you going to ask Meera out, or should I do it for you?" I teased.

Anirudh chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"Thank you, mam," Deep said, before ending the call.

I put the phone back on the table and sighed, shaking my head in disbelief.

"You, Anirudh, are giving your assistant work on a Sunday too?"
