<y/n pov>
As Y/n made his way to the dining area, he tried to suppress the growing distress building inside him. His steps were slow, deliberate, as if each one was weighed down by his thoughts.
Y/n: (to himself) I can't let this get to me. I need to stay focused, for their sake... for Liliya and Rozaliya. If I lose my composure now, it won't do them any good.
He clenched and unclenched his fist, forcing himself to breathe. His heart felt heavy, burdened by the knowledge he carried. Liliya's faint incompatibility with the serum lingered in his mind, like a shadow he couldn't shake off. But he knew he couldn't let his concern slip out-neither Rozaliya nor Liliya should sense his worry. They were depending on him to lead, to be strong.
Y/n: I've trained them well. They're more than capable. But still...
As days passed, he watched over them closely. His eyes were sharp, constantly assessing their progress as they faced off against Honkai beasts on their own. Each battle tested their endurance, and Y/n kept a watchful distance, ensuring they learned from their struggles, but always ready to intervene if needed.
On another day, Y/n watched Liliya workout, his eyes narrowing in concern. Her motions, which were often precise and agile, had begun to show symptoms of strain. It was tiny at first-a slight pause in her dodges, a brief slip on an attack. However, as the days passed, Y/n was unable to ignore the forming pattern.
Y/n: (to himself) She's pushing herself too hard... but it's more than that. This isn't just exhaustion.
Every day, Liliya seemed to grow more fatigued by the time training reached the late afternoon. By 6 p.m., she was barely able to keep up, her body appearing deprived of the energy needed to finish the drills. Rozaliya, always the energetic one, had brushed it off at first.
Rozaliya: (laughing) It's probably her sleep schedule. You know how lazy she gets when it's close to bedtime!
Y/n tried to agree, but deep down, he couldn't shake the feeling that something else was wrong. He adjusted their training, ending it earlier each day, hoping it would give Liliya a chance to recover. But despite that, Liliya's energy continued to wane faster than expected
Y/n watched as Liliya's movements slowed, and just as he expected her to push through the drill, she let out a huge yawn, her eyelids drooping. Before he could say anything, she plopped down right on the grass pad, curled up, and promptly fell asleep.
Y/n stood there, stunned for a moment, his brow furrowing as he stared down at her.
Y/n: (sighing) Seriously... this girl has no self-awareness about where she's sleeping.
Rozaliya burst out laughing from the other side of the training ground, barely able to contain her amusement.
Rozaliya:Well, at least she's comfortable!
Y/n shook his head, trying to hold back a smirk. Despite his concerns about her fatigue, he couldn't help but feel a bit relieved seeing her sleep so peacefully, even if it was in the middle of training.
Y/n: (muttering) one of these days, she's going to fall asleep in the middle of a mission...
Y/n carefully used his telekinesis to lift Liliya, gently maneuvering her through the air as he guided her over to Rozaliya. With a soft but deliberate motion, he settled Liliya onto Rozaliya's back in a piggyback position.
Rozaliya blinked in surprise, momentarily taken aback by the sudden responsibility.
Rozaliya: Uh, brother Y/n? Why don't you just carry her back yourself? You're using your abilities anyway.
