“In the end, success wasn’t the finish line—it was just another beginning.”

Years had passed since that fateful graduation day. Both Sabrina and Duke had moved on—at least in their professional lives. Pareho silang nagtagumpay sa kanilang larangan, and the world had taken notice.

Sabrina had risen to global fame as one of the most successful businesswomen of her time. Mula nang kuhanin niya ang negosyo ng kanyang mga magulang, she turned it into an empire, dominating markets across the globe. Kahit saan siya magpunta, people knew her name. "Sabrina Gonzalez" had become synonymous with power, innovation, and brilliance.

Meanwhile, Duke had become the top entrepreneur in the world. His ventures had expanded beyond anyone’s imagination. His business acumen made him a titan in every industry he touched, but despite all his achievements, there was one thing missing—her.

One day, the Alcantara family sat around a boardroom table. Duke’s father, Mr. Alcantara, wore a somber expression as he listened to his company’s financial reports. For the first time in years, their empire was faltering. "Kung hindi natin maaayos ito," the financial advisor warned, "we may face serious consequences."

Mr. Alcantara clenched his jaw, hiding his frustration. He was used to success, to control. Failure was not an option. “What do you suggest?” he asked, his voice cold and calculated.

There was silence in the room until one of the board members spoke up. “There is one person who might be able to help us.”

“Her name is Sabrina Gonzalez. I’ve heard of her methods, and she’s exactly what we need to turn things around.”

At the mention of Sabrina's name, Mr. Alcantara stiffened. Memories of their last encounter flashed in his mind. He had never liked her, but he could no longer deny her success. She had become even bigger than Duke in certain circles.

"Impossible," he snapped, slamming his fist on the table. "We don’t need her. We can find another way."

The board members exchanged glances, unsure of how to respond. One of them finally said, “Sir, with all due respect, no one else has the expertise to fix this. We’ve tried. She’s the best option.”

Mr. Alcantara hesitated, knowing they were right but unwilling to admit it. Paano ko haharapin si Sabrina pagkatapos ng lahat ng ginawa ko? But then again, what choice did he have?

“Fine,” he said through gritted teeth. “Call her. But don’t let Duke know. I don’t want him involved.”

Sa kabilang dako, Sabrina was sitting in her glass-walled office, overlooking the city skyline. She had it all—the fame, the power, the respect of her peers. Pero sa kabila ng lahat, there was an emptiness she couldn’t quite fill. Duke.

She shook her head, pushing the thought away. It had been years since she last saw him. She had moved on, at least in theory. But there were still nights when she wondered what could have been. Did he still think about her?

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. Her assistant entered, holding a folder. “Ms. Gonzalez, we’ve received an urgent request. It’s from the Alcantara Group.”

Sabrina’s heart skipped a beat at the mention of Duke’s family. She hadn’t thought about them in years, but now they were back, asking for help. Funny how life works.

“What’s the issue?” she asked, keeping her voice steady.

“They need your expertise to fix their financial crisis. Their board believes you’re the only one who can save them.”
