(A/N)
So, I warn you guys, in this chapter there is some swear words, alcohol and smoking. So yeah. Some people might think this chapter is quite pointless, but it becomes quite important later on

I had driven out of the property's gates, and gotten half way to Olivia's place. Struggling to remember the driving lessons my mom had once given me, I steered the wheel just before I went around corners. I shouldn't get a ticket if I keep driving like this. The terrain turned from gravel to smooth road, and the city took place at the bottom of the slope.

I was about to beep the horn, when I realised my Jaguar didn't have one. Instead, I rang up Olivia on my phone. She didn't answer. Instead, she just rejected my call and opened her front house door and ran straight to my car.
"OH MY GOD!!!" Olivia screamed. She opened the door and slipped off her shoulder bag. "It's so cool!!"
I grinned and turned on the radio.
"Ready to party, Liv?" I whooped. Olivia nodded and kicked back onto the leather seat.
She was wearing skin tight blue jeans, a loose pink top, and white converse. Her jewellery - well, always too much to count. I turned off the radio before I could bother the neighbourhood. We were just casually driving towards Luke's house, when Olivia suddenly broke the silence.
"What happened to your eyes? I only just realised. You look like a Tim-Burton-make-up victim!"
Yeah, one of the only things me and Olivia didn't have in common, was Tim Burton. I loved his work, but she just thought it was creepy.
"Yeah, I kind of did that on purpose." I lied.
"Uh why?"
"Um.. I-I.. I don't know why.." I mumbled.
"Have you been crying?" Olivia gaped at me. She may as well have shined a light in my eye and torturted me, until I revealed the truth.
"Uh.. Y-Yes.." I mumured.
"Oh my God! Why?"
"Family stuff.." I said. Olivia said nothing else and we both just sat there in an awkward silence.
At last we arrived at Luke's house. There was music vibrating the ground and drunk guys from class outside. This wasn't something new.
"Uh, Lauren? You just drove past Luke's house."
"It's a new car - I'm not parking there. Remember Todd, when he got so wasted, he started washing Jemma's truck with rocks?"
"Oh yeah.. Good point. But can you stop so I can get out now?"
I rolled my eyes. Either Todd or that perv, Hamish was gonna ask me to marry them if Olivia left me alone. But I decided I could handle it.
I sighed and pulled up onto the curb. "Fine, see you in a minute Liv."
Olivia got out the car and started walking back to Luke's house. I drove ahead and parked in a nice safe spot. I got out and started walking. I saw the familiar face of Kori Smith - the 122nd girlfriend of Luke - walking down on the other side of the street. Kori was a senior and older than Luke by a year - we were freshmans. Poor girl. She was my favourite of all Luke's girlfriends. Kori was a nice girl - she was in several school productions with me and was always fun to talk to.
"Hey Kori!" I said, smiling. Kori turned around and smiled back.
"Lauren! Hi!" She said, her blonde spiral curls bobbing up and down. She crossed the street and joined me.
