"Oi! Dipshit!" A familiar voice yelled behind me. I sighed as I turned around and saw Nikolai and two of his goons, Luke and Travis, walking up to me. "Need something?" I asked. Nikolai slammed his fist into the wall next to my head, "You get a kick out of embarrassing me in class?" He said in a low growl. I scoffed, "Nikolai, it was only 4% higher than your grade. Its not like I got higher than you on purpose," I said, this wasn't the first time Nikolai had gotten pissed for falling short to me in terms of his grades. If he only knew who I was he'd be on his knees begging for forgiveness. "Like I give a shit about the difference. Point is you embarrassed me!" Nikolai spat, as he leaned in closer to me. What the hell? Why is he so close? And why is my heart racing? "Nikolai!" A female voice shouted, we all turned to see our headmistress, Mrs. Alicia stalking towards us. I cursed under my breath, great, an hour of detention I don't need, I'm supposed to meet Luna and Mika in a few minutes. "Mrs. Alicia," Nikolai said, completely relaxed, seriously did he not care about anything? "Don't try and sneak your way out of this one Mr. Rossi, I know what happened last time you were left unsupervised" Mrs. Alicia said sternly. She turned to Luke and Travis who looked like they were gonna piss their pants, " You two, leave." she said. Luke and Travis ran as though their asses were on fire. Mrs. Alicia grabbed me and Nikolai by our wrists and dragged us to the detention room. But just as she got there Elliot came runnning over. "Mrs. Alicia, one of the student council members wants to talks to you." he said breathlessly, Mrs. Alicia let out an exasperated sigh, "What could they possibly want now?! Elliot. Watch these two," she said pointing at me and Nikolai, "and make sure this one" she pointed at Nikolai "stays there," Elliot bowed, "Yes Mrs. Alicia" he said before following me and Nikolai into the empty classroom, once we were inside Elliot waited until Mrs. Alicia had left before saying "You better go or else Luna is gonna blow a fuse" I nodded before running out of the classroom and making my way to the newly built dormitories, we were supposed to get our roomates this evening. Mika was playing around with a new dagger she'd built while Luna was typing away on her laptop. "Well, look who's here" Mika said sarcastically, "Good to see you too sis" I replied, not bothering to apologise for my tardiness. "Don't start bickering." Luna said looking up from her laptop, "Your target this time is Alix Carvalho, the founder of Clube de diamantes. he's here on vacation with his wife," Luna explained, as she turned her laptop to show me a picture of a tall brown haired man in a suit. "He has intel on the Argintiu gang that could be useful to us. The Ghost asked us to get it before someone else does." I rolled my eyes, "Of course he did, has no time to see his kids events but enough time to order them around" I said taking my duffel bag from Mika, "What's the deadline?" I asked as I double checked my equipment. "This Friday. I'll send you the details," Luna said, I nodded before going back to the school building. I had some close calls before i made it back to the detention room, where Elliot was playing games on his phone and Nikolai was staring at the ceiling looking bored out of his mind. Elliot looked up as I came in, "Did Ghostcode and Tinkerer tell you what they wanted?" he asked, Nikolai looked at us as Elliot spoke, I nodded and went to sit down at the back of the classroom. Elliot left, Nikolai turned towards me. "Who are Ghostcode and Tinkerer?" he asked, his eyes gleaming with curiosity, "Fuck off Niko," I said rummaging through my bag looking for my phone. "Niko? Since when do you have a nickname for me?" Nikolai said, I felt my face heat as realisation dawned on me, "It's what everyone calls you" I mumbled, as I continued looking for my phone. "Looking for this?" Nikolai said smugly as I looked up and saw him holding my phone, I stood up abruptly, "How did you get that?" I asked, half out of shock half out anger. "Your little friend wasn't paying attention to me, it was easy to look through your bag and take something," Nikolai explained, a smirk appearing on his face. I paled as I remember the pistol at the bottom of my bag. "D-did you see anything else?" I asked cautiously. "No? What else was there?" Nikolai said, his smirk disappearing as quickly as it had appeared. "Nothing" I said, mentally breathing a sigh of relief. Nikolai narrowed his eyes had me, "What are you hiding." he said in a low voice, I prayed to all the gods he couldn't see the blush on my face. What was happening to me? There was no way I was gay right? And for Nikolai of all people! No, it has to be something else. Over the PA system Mrs. Alicia said "Will Akuma Ashford please report to the Student Council room. Thank you" What have i done now? I picked up my stuff and headed towards Student Council room.
