9. Vigilantes ◇

Only two days have passed since the meeting and the cafe was now transformed into a new HQ, of course it was still a cafe to the naked eye.
The basement and the back room were expanded and now it was a huge place where the people of the former enemies worked together and trained.
In the laboratories, new weapons and technologies were invented and the fighters learned new techniques.

Ellis wasn't really surprised that Willow, as mother of HQ, was able to convince everyone to stop being villains and become vigilantes.

Now there were a lot more people helping in the cafe like Eric(sandstorm), Lena(star shark) and also from time to time Evy and even Pery often came along to help.

But Willow and Karl now worked almost all the time with Ellis in the cafe.
Willow sometimes even dragged Zeya along but she worked with Moon on plans.

During this time the month flew by and a plan was drawn up.

"I apologize for having to call a meeting again after such a short time.
But we need some documents to make sure our plan works and so that we can make changes if necessary."

Mond said in a serious voice.

"But that would also mean that a group would have to break into the main detective station to get these documents.
Anyone volunteer for this mission?"

The room was quiet for a moment before Ellis lifted his arm.

"I can take on this mission"

"are you sure? I think we should send sandstorm with you so that in an emergency you can fight your way out."

said star-shark. everyone had seen how ellis had fought against victor vex but they still thought he was weak because he "only had shadow" magic and a gun.
but of course that wasn't all, they just didn't need to know that.
after the first meeting, zeya, Willow, Karl and ellis decided that they would keep

"so if that's the case I'll also come with you, it's boring here anyway"

said a small brown haired person named Len. Len had apparently sneaked into the room but shortly afterwards another person came running immediately into the room who was exactly as tall as Len, so everyone knew that it was Jay, Len's twin.

"If my sibling is allowed to go on a mission, I also want to go. And so it is fixed Len, Ellis, Sandstorm and I are going on a mission yayy. wait-..... what was the mission again? "

Ellis rolled his eyes. the young twins have been asking to go on a mission for the last month.
and it seemed as if nobody else had anything against it so in the end the two were allowed to come along.

the twins were only adopted by Willow and Zeya 3 months ago.
and since then they have become known as the children of Villains HQ because of their annoying but childish behavior.
But what apparently nobody noticed except Ellis was the aura that the two gave off. The aura of a half-god or, to be more precise, a fallen angel.

But Ellis decided not to say anything because apparently even the twins didn't know anything about it.
maybe in the future but not now.

they all stood in a street corner. sandstorm and ellis were in black clothes or as len called it ninja uniform.
It was almost 5 pm so they decided to go over the plan again.

"okay you two will go into the detective station and distract the detectives so that ellis and i can sneak in to turn off the cameras then we will incapacitate the people so we can search for the documents."

whispered sandstorm as he looked at the group and then around the corner where the station is located.

Jay nodded before They took Len's arm and ran around the corner to the house.

Sandstorm is still standing there with Ellis shocked before they also slowly made their way but to the back entrance of the house.
where after a short time they quietly broke open the door and then moved into the camera or observation room.

While this was happening, Len stood with fake tears in Ther eyes and hand in hand with Jay in the main room where they told the detectives that they had lost their parents.

"Snif snif i.. i wa...nt to go h..h..home snif"

"could you please tell us what your parents look like or their names?"

Jay was about to say something with a sad face when they heard a short beep which was the signal that the cameras were turned off. So the twins decided that they no longer had to act.

"snif well they.....beep...... oh hmm... nop doesn't matter anymore good night!!!"

len took two knives out of xem pocket while jay pulled out an axe but not without getting a side eye from len witch said 'how the hell are you carrying that in your bag' and 'we're just supposed to knock Them out'.

but jay didn't care as she hit the back of the axe over the detective's head.
the two made quick work of the 4 detectives that were there before heading to where Ellis and Sandstorm would probably be.
