In the world of Minecraft, there exists  dozens of dark caves, where dangerous monsters such as zombies and spiders reside, there exists  valuable ores every player aims to obtain with their own hands.

Steve was no exception.

Therefore, he brought his trusty iron pickaxe, some torches and set off to the cave. Thus began Steve's cave adventure!

A young man wearing a blue shirt took a deep breath before stepping in the lightless cave. However, he heard a howl echoing in the cavern.

"Scary..." Steve gulped, clenching the handle of his pickaxe as if he was strangling a squirrel.

Still, Steve braved his fears and went in nonetheless. Each step he took echoed in the caves, revealing his location. It wasn't long before he reached deep in the mines.

As he walked, Steve saw something sparkle in the corner of his eyes. He turned his head and widened his eyes.

"Emerald?! Not what I was looking for but it was still a great find!"

With no hesitation, Steve went for the ore and raised the pickaxe in his hand.

However, he suddenly heard a familiar sound that stopped him from moving. The sound every player wanted to avoid at all cost.

Hisssss....

'A creeper...!' With haste, Steve brought a sword to his hand and swung it to the creature behind him as he exhaled.

"W-wait! I'm innocent!" A girl's voice came from the green creature that stopped Steve in his tracks.

Sword in her throat, the young girl shook in fear.

Was it another player Steve mistook for a creeper? If so, what was the hissing sound he heard? Was it just his imagination? No, it wasn't.

Up close, Steve saw a young girl in a green jacket that reached all the way to her thighs and has the face of a creeper in her hoodie. She had orange hair and her teary eyes were showing a hint of fear. Overall, she looked just like a normal girl wearing a weird jacket.

Therefore, Steve pulled away his sword and apologized to the young girl.

"Sorry, I thought it was a creeper. I haven't seen any mobs lately. And it just felt weird, so I kept my guard up."

"It's fine. It happens frequently." The young girl said as she sighed a breath of relief. "Anyway, I came because it has been a while since I saw a player in the caves! I'm Cupa, it's nice to meet you!"

"I'm called Steve. It's nice to meet you too, Cupa."

...

After his occurrence with Cupa, Steve went deeper into the mines and came across some rare ores, including diamonds! It was a lucky find, but something had been bothering Steve ever since him went in the caves.

"I've not seen any mob yet," Steve uttered. "Isn't that strange, Cupa?"

There was no response, however. Steve called upon Cupa one more time, no reply. Until, Steve turned to Cupa who was behind him and whispered her name in her ears, causing Cupa to jump in shock.

"W-what do you think you're doing?!"

"I've called you three times. Is something wrong?" Steve asked.

Cupa paused for a second and wondered before pointing towards a dark passage. "It's just... I feel some ominous aura around that corner. It's giving me the creeps."

Steve looked at what Cupa was pointing to. Sure, it was a dark passageway, but Steve could not feel something weird in the place.then turned to Cupa again. "I don't see anything weird."

However, he saw that Cupa was slightly shaking as she stared at the dark passageway with scared eyes. Therefore, his curiousity was piqued. "Why don't we check it out then?"

The sudden idea turned Cupa's head and hid behind Steve's back. He could still feel her shaking.

"....?"

"...You first."

Cupa's fear towards the passageway slightly feared Steve himself. He couldn't help but wonder what it was that made Cupa shiver this much. Sweat formed on his forehead. Still, he braved his fear. And so, he took a step, another step, and another.

"S-stop! I'm still not ready for this!" Cupa shouted, pulling Steve's shirt away from the dark corner.

"Don't scare me like that!" Steve jumped and pinched Cupa's cheek out of anger.

"I'm sorry, alright! Stop pinching me!"

Suddenly, a loud bang echoed across the cave that shocked the duo. It seemed to come from the dark passageway.

The sudden bang caused Cupa to hide behind Steve once again. "What was that?!"

"I'll go check it out." Steve said and brought the iron sword to his hand.

Each second was a loud step. It must be a large creature. Is it a warden? No, they're not in its domain yet. Then, what kind of creature is it?

Finally, its appearance was revealed when it came out running towards the pair. It had a huge, sturdy body that seemed to be as hard as an iron.

"What's an iron golem doing in this place?!" Steve questioned himself then pushed Cupa out of the way before evading sideways.

'It's coming after me?!' Steve wondered.

He had not even attacked the iron golem but it was attacking him? It was already strange that there had been no mobs roaming around the cave, but an iron golem attacking Steve? Suddenly, a thought came across Steve's mind.

'Was it the iron golem who killed the mobs in the cave?'

Ready to fight, Steve drew his sword and waited for a chance to counterattack. However, the iron golem ran straight towards Cupa, who was on the ground, instead of attacking Steve himself!

'It wasn't attacking me at all, but Cupa?!'

Hurriedly, Steve ran towards the iron golem to divert its attention and protect Cupa.

"Stay still, Steve!" Cupa warned Steve.

Wasting no time, Cupa took a large, red block in her jacket's pocket and threw it towards the iron golem.

"How did a TNT fit in there?!" Steve voiced his thoughts in shock.

BOOM!!! The explosion echoed across the cavern and shook the area.

After the explosion, Steve came running towards Cupa and checked if she was injured.

Fortunately, Cupa was unscathed.

"Still, it bothers me why the iron golem attacked you."

"Um, about that..."

Suddenly, a small creature appeared
