He was lost in these memories when the sudden beep sound of the machine attached to Mahek shook him, and he called out to the doctor loudly.
The doctor rushed inside and started checking Mahek while Fawad was looking inside the window.
"Thankfully! Patient ko hosh aya hai, but her recovery will be slow..please un ki mental or physical health ka bohut dhyaan rakhiyega!" The doctor said as he came out of the iCU
"Can we meet her?" Asked fawad.
"She is being shifted to the patient rooms, then you can meet her!" He said, and fawad thanked him, and he left.
"Beta jab mahek se baat karo ask her the big question, then as we reach home we will get you guys engaged or agar mumma or baba ka bas chale toh nikkah bhi padhwa denge" Said Zayn, and after a long time, a genuine smile came on Fawad's face.
"Mujhe aise nikkah nahi karna bhaiya..I want it to be grand and besides she is still studying! Last year hai uska then after that I will ask her to marry me.." said fawad, and zayn nodded.
"Kuch bhi ho fawad..abhi tum uski permission lo and get engaged then you guys take your time to get married!" Said zayn while patting his cheek.
As Mahek was shifted to the patient room, Fawad went inside and held her palm in his palm, and she slowly opened her eyes.
To find the love of her life sitting in front of her.
"Fawad.." She said while trying to sit up but was unable to.
"Don't.." Fawad said and made her lay again.
"Kyu kiya mahek apne sath aisa? Why did you do this to yourself, agar apko kuch hojata toh mera kya hota, ap meh meri jaan basti hai" fawad said while looking into her eyes, a small smile appearred on her face.
"Maar jaoungi fawad..par apke elawa kisi se mangni nahi karungi!" Mahek said, and fawad smiled too.
"Marne ke baate karna band Karo ap samjhi!" Fawad slightly flicked her head, and she giggled.
"Baba kaha hai?" Mahek asked weakly.
"Jaha unhe hone chahiye tha.." fawad said mahek frowned.
"Kaha?" Mahek asked.
"Jail meh!" Fawad said.
"Kya? Kyu? Fawad, I don't want him to be in jail!" She said, and Fawad looked at her confused.
"Mahek puri life unhone apko sirf hurt kiya! He deserves this meri jaan!" Fawad said softly.
"Faraq nahi padta Fawad mujhe! Bas unki bail karwaye please" She said with tears in her eyes, and fawad bear them.
"Thike..rona band kariye!" Fawad said, and she wiped her tears.
"Accha mahek the main question.."Fawadd said, and mahek looked up at him.
"Would you like to be my fiance? And future wife?" He asked cutely with a cheeky smile.
"Ji, of course!" Mahek said, matching his tone.
"Thike fir jaldi se discharge hojiye then we will get engaged! We will get married whenever you are ready!" Fawad sai, and mahek smiled.
"Apki family ka kya?" She asked as she was unaware that they knew about their relationship.
"Ap manogi nahi par jab unhe pata chala woh log yaha khazi sahab ke sath agaye the!" He said, making her laugh out loud.
"Allah! Sach meh!" She asked while laughing, and he also laughed, looking at her.
