It was Sunday morning.
Noor was slowly adjusting to her new life. It felt like a dream, but it was also hectic because of all the kids, as they played board games the whole Saturday night!

It was super fun as well, but now all the kids were studying because of Adnan's strict orders as they enjoyed too much these past couple of days. In these wedding days, none of them even glanced at their pending assignments and studies.

Sabia, Nazia, adnan, and Noor were sitting in the living room.

"Adnan beta tumhe 'Laiba' yaad hai?" Nazia asked her son.

"Woh chalti pheerti tsunami? Usku kaise bhool sakta hoon meh! Apko kaise yaad agayi woh chudail, " Adnan said while rolling his eyes, and Nazia hit his arm at his choice of words.

"Who is this, Laiba?" Noor asked, confused.

"Her father was a great friend of Aziz bhai and Ali! But after his death, she stayed with us for some time, and from that day onwards, we took up the responsibility of her studies and well-being!" Nazia explained to Noor.

"Ladki nahi thi woh bomb thi bomb! Iss duniya ki koyi baala uska muh nahi bann karwa sakti thi bhabhi! Accha hua jaan chutti usse humari!" Adnan said while drinking water.

"Tumhare baba ne rishta pakka kar diya tha tumhara or laiba ka!" Nazia said, and adnan choked on the water he was drinking.

"Aram se kya hogya hai.." noor said while patting his back, suppressing her laugh.

"Mumma meh mar jaonga par usse shaddi nahi karunga!" Adnan said frustratedly.

"Aisi konsi dushmani hai tumhe usse?" Noor asked, and adnan huffed.

"Gundi thi woh! Pata nahi kaise par woh Bachpan mere saare toy car ke tires ukhad hi deti thi! Mere notebooks ke pages phaad deti thi!" He complained to her.

"Wah adnan! Kitna accha reason hai kisiko hate karne ka!" Noor said sarcastically.

"Laiba or uski mumma Punjab se yaha par kuch dino meh arre hai!" Sabia said, and adnan looked at her with a shocked expression.

"Kyuu?" He asked, irritated.

"Kyu ka kya Matlab hua Adnan! Arre hai toh arre hai baat hi khtm ot waise bhi usse yaha par kuch kaam tha!" Nazia said, making adnan more irritated.

"Meh hi kahi chala jata hoon!" Adnan said and left the house, and Nazia looked worried so noor kept her palm on hers.

"Ajayega wapas! Don't worry, " noor said, and Nazia nodded.

Meanwhile, in Punjab, it was 2:30 am, and a girl was sneaking into her own house.

"Kaha se arri ho tum itni raat meh!" Her mother asked the girl while folding her hands across her chest.

"Woh..ammi.." The girl was fearless, but the only person she feared was her mother and especially when she was glaring at her like this.

Her mother came and twisted her ear, and the girl hissed and tried to remove her hold from her poor ear.

"Itni badi hogayi ho fir bhi thodi bhi akhal nahi ayi tumhe! Akeli ladki itni raat meh bahar kuch ulta seedha hojata toh kya jawab deti meh upar jaake tumhare baba ko" Her mother asked her while hitting her upper arm, and th girl hissed, but she was being dramatic as she wanted some sympathy from her sweet mother.

"Oho meri pyaari rasgolle jesi ammi jaan! Pure Punjab meh kissi ki bhi itni himmat nahi hai ki woh 'Laiba mobeen' se uljhe! Acche accho ka haal bura hojata hai apki beti ke samne!" Laiba said very proudly.
