Fawad drove towards the hospital along with Mahek as she wanted to meet her mother.

On the way to the hospital, they got a fruit basket for her mother as well, fawad held mahek's hand as they entered the hospital.

She was very nervous, and her hands were also shaking a bit, but then Fawad held her palm and gave her a reassuring smile.

They entered the hospital together, Fawad went towards the reception and asked for the room number of Mahek's mother.

A nurse showed them the way, and they reached near the room, thier they saw mahek's phuphu, and her phuphu came towards her and patted mahek's head with a small smile.

Just then, mahek's gaze met with her father's, who just exited the room. She immediately looked down. Then Fawad's words struck her mind.

"You didn't do anything wrong!" These words give her the confidence she needed.

"Mujhe ammi se milna hai!" Mahek said to her phuphu and her phuphu, along with Fawad, guided her inside.

"Assalamualikum.." mahek said softly as she met her mother.

Her mother called her near her with her hand, and mahek looked up at Fawad, who nodded his head, indicating her to go.

Mahek went towards her mother, who looked very weak then before. She kept the fruit basket on the table, and her mother held her hand, making her sit on the bed near her.

"Kaisi hai meri bachi?" Her mother asked while caressing mahek's face.

Mahek's lips quivered as tears started forming in her eyes. She tried to blink them away, but when she met her mother's weak eyes, she broke down in tears.

Her mother hugged her tightly while rubbing her back, and everything that mahek was holding back from so many days came rushing in her mind.

"Bas mahek..please.." fawad said as he went towards the mother and daughter duo.

Fawad was very sad after seeing mahej crying like this. He had promised himself never to let a tear come in her eyes, but now he was helpless.

Mahek composed herself and wiped her tears with the back of her hand, and smiled at her mother.

"Jawab nahi diya beta tumne mere sawal ka.." mahek's mother said weakly.

"Theek hoon ammi..bohut khush hoon! Mangni hogyi meri!" Mahek managed to say her voice was breaking, but she tried her best.

"Mashallah..Allah tum dono ko beinteha khushiya de!" Her mother said with a small smile forming on her wrinkled face.

"Ameen!" Both mahek and Fawad said together.

"Aunty agar apko koyi financial help chahiye toh please let me know!" Fawad said, his tone was soft.

"Shukriya beta abhi toh Alhumdulilah Allah ka diya sab kuch hai!" Her mother replied.

"Ammi ap ayengi na meri shaddi par?" Mahek asked. She wanted to ask this question for a very long time.

"Inshallah beta..jab tak agar rahi toh bilkul aongi apni beti ki shaddi par!" Her mother said with a sad chuckle.

"Ammi aise toh mat bolo! Abhi apko or bohut saare saal jeena hai!" Mahek said, and her mother patted her head softly.

Just then, the hospital door burst open, and Sarfaraz entered inside with Mahek's father behind him.

"Tum kya kar rahi ho yaha? Himmat kaisi huyi tumhari yaha anne ki?" Sarafaraz shouted while going towards mahek.

Just then, fawad took a protective move and came in front of mahek, pushing Sarfaraz away.
