Part 4

Seugmin was enjoying a sunny afternoon at the park with Hyunjin, laughing and chatting as they kicked a soccer ball back and forth. The sun was warm on their backs, and the laughter they shared was genuine and carefree. However, Seugmin couldn't shake the feeling of Minho's eyes on them from a distance. He glanced over and saw Minho standing by a tree, his expression dark and unreadable.
"Seugmin, are you okay?" Hyunjin asked, noticing his friend's distraction.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Seugmin replied, forcing a smile. But his thoughts were elsewhere, tangled in the confusion of Minho's sudden change in behavior.
Later that day, Seugmin decided to confront Minho. He found him near the lockers, but as he approached, Minho turned away, pretending not to see him.
"Minho, wait!" Seugmin called, his voice filled with frustration. "Can we talk?"
Minho paused, his shoulders tense, but he didn't turn around. "What is it, Seugmin?" he asked, his tone cold.
"Why are you ignoring me?" Seugmin demanded, stepping closer. "Did I do something wrong?"
Minho finally turned to face him, his eyes flashing with jealousy. "Maybe you should just hang out with Hyunjin since you seem to like him so much," he snapped.

Seugmin's heart ached at the accusation. "Minho, it's not like that. Hyunjin is just a friend."
"Is he?" Minho retorted, his voice rising. "Because it sure looks like more than that to me."
Seugmin's frustration boiled over, and he took a step closer, his face inches from Minho's. "Why are you acting like this?" he asked, his voice trembling. "Why can't you just talk to me?"
The tension between them was palpable, and Minho's breath hitched as he struggled to find the right words. "Because... because I'm jealous, okay?" he finally admitted, his voice cracking. "I don't like seeing you with him."
Seugmin's eyes widened in shock. "Jealous? Minho, you have a girlfriend. Why would you be jealous?"
Minho's expression softened, and he looked away, his voice barely above a whisper. "It's complicated."
Seugmin felt a surge of emotion, his heart pounding in his chest. "Minho, I care about you. But you can't just push me away because you're confused."
Minho's eyes met Seugmin's, and in that moment, the raw vulnerability between them was undeniable. As Seugmin tried to take a step back, he tripped over a stray book bag on the floor, losing his balance. Minho instinctively reached out to catch him, but the sudden movement caused them both to stumble. In the chaos, their faces collided, and their lips accidentally brushed against each other in a fleeting, accidental kiss.
Time seemed to freeze as they pulled apart, their eyes wide with shock. Seugmin's face flushed a deep shade of red, and he quickly looked away, his heart racing.

"Minho, I-I didn't mean to—" Seugmin stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Minho's own cheeks were tinged with pink, and he ran a hand through his hair, clearly flustered. "No, it's okay. It was an accident," he said quickly, avoiding Seugmin's gaze.
The awkward silence between them was heavy, and Seugmin's mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions. He couldn't believe what had just happened, and the accidental kiss left him feeling more confused than ever.
"I should go," Seugmin finally said, his voice shaky. "I'll see you later, Minho."
"Yeah, sure," Minho replied, his voice equally unsteady. "See you."
As Seugmin walked away, his heart pounded in his chest, and he couldn't shake the image of their accidental kiss from his mind. He felt a strange mix of embarrassment and a lingering warmth that he couldn't quite explain.
For the next few days, Seugmin and Minho avoided each other, both too flustered to face what had happened. They exchanged awkward glances in the hallways, their interactions filled with a tension that neither of them knew how to address.
Emily, Alex, and Jenna noticed the change in Seugmin's behavior and tried to get him to open up. "Seugmin, what's going on with you and Minho?" Emily asked one afternoon during lunch. "You two have been acting weird lately."
"It's nothing," Seugmin mumbled, poking at his food. "Just a misunderstanding."
Hyunjin, who had been sitting quietly, finally spoke up. "If you ever need to talk, we're here for you, Seugmin. Whatever it is, you don't have to go through it alone."

Seugmin appreciated their support but couldn't bring himself to explain the accidental kiss. It was too embarrassing, and he wasn't even sure how he felt about it himself.
Meanwhile, Minho was struggling with his own feelings. He couldn't stop thinking about the kiss, replaying the moment over and over in his mind. He wanted to talk to Seugmin, to clear the air, but every time he saw him, his heart raced, and he couldn't find the words.
Finally, one afternoon, Minho decided he couldn't take it anymore. He found Seugmin sitting alone in the library, his expression thoughtful.
"Seugmin, can we talk?" Minho asked, his voice gentle.
Seugmin looked up, his eyes wide with surprise. "Sure," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Minho sat down across from him, taking a deep breath. "About what happened the other day... I'm sorry. I didn't mean for things to get so complicated.".
Seungmim nodded '' its ok really. '''' freinds? '' minho would say holding his hands out
''... freinds. Uh- ye! '' seungmin would say trying to control the tears welling up.
