Third Person POV

After the incident, the other members, except Namjoon, tried not to get too anxious about what had happened to the youngest. They waited for Taehyung, who was with him. Taehyung let him calm down, not wanting to bring up the topic and certainly not wanting the others to do so either. He didn’t want to tell the whole truth; he needed to protect the past.

The youngest had finished eating some fruit and was starting to show signs of being sleepy. Taehyung cleaned up the cores and threw them in the trash. Y/N adjusted the bed and rested his head on the pillow. Taehyung tucked him in, watching as his eyes slowly closed. Once he heard the familiar sound of snoring, Taehyung felt assured. He stood up and went to join the others just as Namjoon arrived. Namjoon bumped into someone on his way to Y/N’s room. The guy he encountered gave off an unusual aura, but Namjoon shrugged it off and opened the door.

Taehyung was walking towards the group when Jimin, who was especially worried about the youngest, immediately approached him. Hoseok followed closely, ready to ask what was on everyone’s mind.

"Taehyung, what happened to Y/N? Why did he cry like that?" Hoseok asked. Taehyung, feeling the pressure, wanted to tell them the truth but knew he needed to respect Y/N's privacy. He had to come up with an answer that wouldn’t reveal too much.

"Oh, he just remembered something from his past—family stuff," Taehyung lied.

"Why was he crying?" Hoseok pressed further.

"He misses his family. It was overwhelming for him," Taehyung answered with a sigh.

"He must really love his family," Hoseok remarked.

"Yeah," Taehyung sighed again.

"I think I heard Y/N crying," Namjoon said, carrying two bags of food.

"Oh, Namjoon, glad you came!" Jin chimed in.

"I brought lunch. I knew you wouldn’t want to leave him, so I figured we’d eat here."

"Oh, that’s great, hyung!" Jungkook said excitedly.

Namjoon placed the bags on the table, and they all started digging in, but Jimin remained skeptical about Taehyung’s explanation. He knew Taehyung well enough to recognize when he was lying. Something didn’t add up, but Jimin decided to stay quiet. He’d ask Y/N personally when the time was right.

Jimin's POV (Two Days Later)

Y/N is finally getting discharged, and he’s starting to look like his usual self. Jin-hyung really took good care of him, though we all took turns. Thankfully, we had a week-long break before our new performances started.

I’m helping Y/N get ready to leave the hospital. Although he protested, I insisted. The others followed behind while Namjoon-hyung and Yoongi-hyung handled the paperwork. I’m still a bit bothered by what Taehyung is hiding about Y/N. From what I’ve seen, Y/N doesn’t seem particularly upset, so maybe what Taehyung said is true. Still, I can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to it.

Yoongi-hyung and Namjoon-hyung returned with the doctor. The doctor gave Y/N one last check-up.

"Your vitals are fine, heart rate is normal. I’d say you’re ready to go," the doctor said, making us all happy, especially Y/N.

"I’ll just sign the papers, and you can head out, Y/N. Once you’re home, make sure to eat well, sleep properly, and stay hydrated. We don’t want this happening again," the doctor advised as he signed the papers.

"I will, doctor."

"I hope not to see you back here," the doctor joked.

"I can’t promise that, doc," Y/N replied cheekily, earning a light smack from Jin-hyung.
