The Devil In Disguise

Damn, WTF!!!!

            "What do you mean, it can't be cleaned?" I asked. "We have tried everything, we have hired the bets cleaners and it still hasn't come off" Mrs. Diago said. Juno and I just looked at each other, shocked. Suddenly she grabbed my wrist and ran off with me. I would have been blushing like crazy if Juno hadn't said, "We are going to Cara's house". 

           "WAIT, what?" I asked as we stood in front of Cara's house. "Juno, Cara's sister just died do you think she wants to see us?" "I need to ask her something" Juno replied. I tried to stop her, but it was too late. She already rang Cara's doorbell. I silently cursed under my breath when the door opened. We then saw a woman who looked like she hadn't eaten in days. She had huge eye bags and her long blonde hair was tied up in a messy bun. She was probably Cara's mom. She looked at us, as if she was waiting for us to say something. "Oh uhm, we were hoping to speak to Cara" I said looking at the ground. "She can't come" Cara's mom said as she was closing the door. Right before she closed the door, Juno slammed it open and grabbed my wrist again. Then she pulled both of us into the house. I was about to blush until I realized what had just happened. "JUNO! This is illegal!" I said as we headed upstairs. I heard some loud music. I tried to pay attention to what the song was. I then realized it was "What Was I Made For", by Billie Eilish. I glanced at the downstairs floor. I was shocked. There were beer bottles, headphones, and broken vases all of the ground. As we approached the room with the music, I braced myself as Juno knocked on the door. I thought no one would answer but after I minute of waiting, we heard the lock click open.

             Juno then opened the door and we both stepped inside. I gasped in horror as I saw the state of the room. All of Cara's fun, vibrant posters had been ripped into pieces. Her walls had looked like they had been punched several times. Then I looked over at Cara's bed and saw her under a huge pile of blankets. Her shoulder length blonde hair was tangled and looked like it hadn't been washed in days. She was wearing a baggy grey t-shirt and some navy blue shorts. I then saw her face and was shocked. She had eye bags even bigger than her mom. She also looked insanely tired. I felt really bad for her. Juno hadn't said anything the whole time so I looked at her. She WAS SMILING!!!!! WTF!!!! But nothing could have prepared me for what Juno was about to say next. "So, why did you kill Amy?" Juno asked looking at Cara dead in the eyes.
