IN WHICH Charlotte 'Charlie' Murray, your not so typical teenage girl, who stays in her books, with her friends, and did I mention she stays in her books? She helps out her best friend, Lucas, at his mom's diner with her other best friend, Haley, in her free time along with tutoring younger grades at her high school.
But she would have never guessed that Lucas's enemy who is his brother, Nathan, would need tutoring from her, or so she thought. Charlie soon develops feelings that she shouldn't have for Nathan and so does he. Lucas takes it as a sign of betrayal and gets furious at the two for a bit, until he actually realizes what they have is real.
