AT NIGHT, Charlotte wanted to at least try to make things right with Luke. She was on her way to the Diner because that's the only place he could possibly be.

When she got there she didn't know whether to make a silent entry or a happier one, but she didn't do one at all. She opened the door to the Cafe but froze up because she was scared that Lucas was still mad at her, she quickly shut the door behind her and that got Lucas's attention of a blonde girl walking out of the diner without saying anything.

So he chased after her, "Charlie!" And that made her turn around and, so he wasn't mad at her, she thought so.

"How long are we gonna do this?" Luke asked her.

"Do what?" The Murray girl wasn't in the mood for sass from any man today, she just wanted to know why Luke was so upset.

"Avoid each other."

Charlie let out a tiny scoff then a laugh, she never took anything seriously. "You tell me, you're the one upset."

"And you're the one who lied to me." There goes the sass she didn't want to receive.

"I don't know what else to say to you, Lucas." She clenched her jaw while she watched him take a couple deep breaths, obviously irritated.

"Just explain to me why you were with him. Nathan. Huh? I mean considering the past few weeks and what he's done."

"Luke, I can't."

"You know how I feel about him, Charlotte." He waved his finger in her face before throwing a shoulder over to walk away.

But, Charlotte didn't know what she would say next wouldn't go so well. "Lucas, fine!" She took a couple quick steps towards him, "Yes, I know how you feel about him, but there is something you don't know."

"Charlie, you screwing him?"

"Gross, no! I'd promise him I would tutor him if he left you alone."

"What.." He took a couple steps backwards with his hands behind his head.

"Lucas! C'mon! I'm doing it for you!"

"Don't talk to me, not until you're done with this tutor girl act." He took one last breath before taking a last look at the blonde girl in front of him.

"Luke?" She looked out in a distant, he wasn't there. He wasn't even at the cafe.

Her kindness was getting in the way of something way more important than some stupid guy who needed help, not just any guy, a guy that her best friend despised.

"So you're telling me, you're tutoring my brother. And.. you have feelings for him?" Charlie asked the brunette friend sat in front of her.
