"When are you gonna stop hating me?"

"Forever! Fuck You!"

Marla has been giving me her version of the silent treatment for about two days. Which, ironically, isn't very silent at all. She's been mad at the fact that I forgave Oli, so for the past couple days I've been having to sleep with one eye open.

"Marla?"

"Did I say you could fucking speak peasant?"

"I love you."

"Shut up, I'm still mad."

I let out an exaggerated sigh. Which caused her to throw a pillow at my face. The grudges this woman can hold.

"God, it's like you're 5."

She just opened her laptop and flipped me off.

As I was laying on my bed, my phone vibrated. It was Vic.

"Hello." I said unsure.

"Hey Kells, Wanna hang out later?"

"Yeah. That'd be awesome. Whatya wanna do?"

"I don't know, You pick."

I smiled to myself. Or at least I thought I did.

"Oh my god, It's like i can hear you smiling." Marla turned and laughed.

I pretended I didn't hear her.

"Urm, I don't know. You probably know the area a lot better than I do. You pick?"

"HE WANTS YOUR DICK!!!" Marla Shouted.

"Do you have a death wish?" I glared at her.

She just laughed along with Vic. God damn it.

"Touché." He said as he kept laughing.

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing. I'll get you at 8." He said and hung up the phone.

{At About 7ish}
I was texting Vic back and forth all day, to the point where it made me wonder if he actually had to do anything at his shop. I started getting ready for my ... um ... "hanging out" thing with Vic, until there was a knock on the door.

"Marla, could you get that?"

"Oooh your precious little mexica- OOOOOH SHIT!"

I came out of the bathroom still brushing me teeth.

"What are you blathering about? "

"Look." She said pointing at the door's peep hole.

I looked and was instantly filled with panic.

"You seem to have forgotten that you have a narcissistic boyfriend who just told you he loved you this week." She whispered.

"FFffffuck." I said sliding down the back of the door.

"You have to open it."

"Maybe he'll think we're not here." I hoped.

"Yeaah and maybe he hasn't heard this entire conversation on account of it's taking you an hour to answer a door that is literally an inch thick." She quietly screamed.

"Shit, you're right. Move." I told her. I got up and hesitated before opening the door.

"Heeeeeyyyy Babe. Wha- What're you doing here?" I said as causal as possible when your heart is beating a thousand times a minute.

"I came to see you." He said and leaned in to kiss me. I didn't kiss back, and I think he sensed something was wrong.

"Why, You don't seem very happy to see me." He looked skeptical and glared into my eyes, as if it would hint there was a problem.

"No, No I am. I just ... I can't hang out tonight." Stop tripping on your words Kellin.

"Why not?" He questioned still searching my eyes.

"You really should have called." I said looking down.

"You act like it's a crime that I want to see my boyfriend." That same anger he had the last time we fought was slowly coming back. I could tell. Time to lie my way out of here.

"No babe, it's not you, i just I really have to study and finish this project that me and Marla have to do for our photography class." I don't even take photography.

"I'm sure you can finish it later." He said, changing his demeanor to a lot more seductive. I'm losing this battle.

"Well...."

"I'll be down stairs in the car." He smiled, kissed my cheek, then walked away. Not even giving me a chance to say another word before he was out of my sight.

"Smooth move Quinn." Marla teased as I turned around inside.

"What am I gonna tell Vic?" I said nervously.

"Hmm, maybe he forgot." That hurt a little. I hope he wouldn't have.

{At A Random Restaurant in the Area}

I was silent most of the date. I wasn't really eating much, and I didn't speak unless spoken to the whole night. I felt really bad for ditching Vic, and before I knew it, it was inching towards 8:30. Thankfully Oli didn't notice the way I was acting. He just kept the conversation going on his own accord.

He grabbed my hand on top of the table.

"I love you." He said. I was to distracted with my own thoughts to even fully acknowledge him, because my body at this point was on auto pilot.

"I love you too." I didn't mean to sound sarcastic because I do care about him a lot. It's just my brain is occupied. Speaking of the occupation.

My phone started ringing. It was on the table next to my water. I wonder if Oli saw the banner and the name.
He did.

"Who's that?" He asked pretending as if he didn't see the name. I knew he did, because something clicked in his eyes when I looked at him.

"Oh just Vic." I said trying to get to the phone. But the way Oli looked at me was as if he was silently telling me not to.

"Vic. As in Mike's brother?" He asked.

"Yes."

It was quiet for a second. Just him looking at the phone and me watching him.

"I don't want you talking to him anymore." He ordered.

"Oli, calm down he's my fri-"

"I said ... I dont want you fucking talking to him anymore." He said through gritted teeth.

It got quiet once again. I didn't say anything in fear of setting him off in public.

"I'm taking you home." He said, and that's exactly what he did.
