        "Same to you... I'll take care of you as well"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   How could Yukio be this fucking blind? All this time when he thought Rin was in his shared room with Itadori, really....
    Rin ran off...
    Yukio was on his knees, his tears of sorrow and regret and guilt fell onto the paper, basically telling Yukio that Rin no longer wanted to be there.
    Yukio....How could he be this stupid....
    He knew he ran off with those Jujutsu sorcerers. He trembled as shook, feeling the weight of losing his last remaining family. If losing Shiro was bad...
    Losing his very own twin brother was harder....
    Yukio crumped the paper up and threw it, he gave himself a few slaps and just sat there. Realizing something, Yukio wiped his own tears away. What right did Yukio have to cry? He did this...
    He made Rin run away with people he barely even knew...
    Yukio sat there dazed for a while, late to even his own class he was supposed to teach...
    While the trio went off to take up a mission that Megumi, Nobara, and Itadori could all handle-
    "Where are we going Gojo-Sensei?" Rin asked as he followed behind Gojo who led him to a very large field, almost 10 times longer and wider than an average football field.
    -Gojo led Rin for something else entirely.
    "I'm going to see if you have your own cursed energy" Gojo said as they continued to walk to the very center.
    "Cursed energy?" Rin asked.
    "Yes, I want to see if you could produce your own just as those fancy flames of yours"
    "The flames are inherent, I don't know about the cursed energy part" Rin commented.
    "So? I still want to see" Gojo said.
    Rin nodded and once they were where they were needed to be, Gojo thus began his teachings.
    The trio did the mission.
    Rin was learning something new.
    Yukio cried for his lost brother.
    "Woah, that's actually kinda cool" Satan said as he and Rin sat in a park.
    Rin had made a tiny flame matching that of Itadori's on his fingers. It was small, but it meant a lot to Rin. Rin smiled at it and Satan took notice as he himself also smiled. God, Rin did look so much like him.
    "So" Satan began, making Rin look at him curiously.
    "Tell me about yourself" Satan finished.
    Rin thought, what was something he could tell Satan? His dad? What could he say?
    "Uhhh" Rin began.
    "I like cooking?"
    "So do I, what do you do in your free time?" Satan asked.
    "Pretty much reading I guess,"
    "Book worm?"
    "Manga and such I guess" Rin said.
    Satan nodded. They tried chatting to each other to get to know each other. A bit better and get a view on the other. Eventually, they parted ways for the day. Rin still had training and Satan couldn't remain in the human world forever due to the vessel he was creating.
So far. Everything was perfectly well and swell.
Eventually, Rin began going on missions with the trio, they all showing him around and how to do things. Rin experimented one time and combined his cursed energy that Gojo was helping him cultivate with his demonic hellfire.
Cursed energy and Demonic Hellfire made for one hell of a weapon. So much so that Sukuna himself wanted a go at a spar with the demon hybrid. The spar lasted a good hour or so when Sukuna claimed he was finished.
"Good work, although still not as strong as me" Was what Sukuna said.
But hey, praise from the King of Curses himself was good. Means he's doing well. Well enough that is. Sukuna even offered to help out (Surprisingly, no one knows if Sukuna would use him teaching Rin for a favor later on but no one would be surprised if he pulled that stunt.)
So, with Sukuna and Gojo teaching Rin about cursed energy and how to manipulate it, he was getting it on really well. Adding on his Demon father with his hellfire. Rin was feeling all the more powerful and stronger.
But more free and welcomed and more supported.
Rin was indeed liking how his life was turning out.
After picking up some odd jobs, he saved up enough money and bought a few strange things. Walking into a forest which happened to be nearby. He sat down beside a tree he thought was good enough, and set down what appeared to be a headstone, personally carved with dates.
Rin Okumura.
XXXX-XXXX
Rin sat and looked at it. It was strange. This stone signifies his old life, the him that was hated, bullied, and forced to die.
Rin felt no remorse looking at this. He personally gotten it done. While that part of him he hated, it deserves to be remembered, this part of him is what made him who he is now.
"Rest in peace, Okumura, you live a life you best could." Rin stood up, and nodded to it as a farewell as he walked off, leaving that stone planted in the ground in front of that tree.
He probably won't visit it again, but that part of him deserves a little something. Does it not?
That's how the saying goes.
Out with the old.. In with the new..
