Wall Shenanigans

(LAZY AHH CHAPTER)

The sound of scales moving against concrete was the first thing I heard as I began to slowly wake up. Something warm was under me and it was moving in a consistent rhythm that could have put me back to sleep if I was actually tired. The smell of the ocean waves softly swaying across the sand surrounded me, engulfing me in the calming aroma with each intake of air I breathed into my lungs.

The light wherever they were coming from, bleeds through my eyelids and attacks my eyes from behind my own eyelids, prompting me to throw an arm over my eyes lazily.

“Wakey wakey.” A deep voice from above me spoke up as I was shaken softly. The thing holding me up shook from underneath me, urging me to wake up. But I refused.

“Come on, sleepy head.” The deep voice persisted, but I didn't falter as I mumbled something out towards the voice. The shaking never stopped, but it started to become more aggressive with each passing second that I refused to wake up.

“Come oooon.” The soft undertone the voice once held was gone and became stern. I mumbled out once again and waved a hand up to hopefully silence the person that was trying to force me awake from my slumber.

“COME ON, YOU FELL ASLEEP AFTER PUKING!” I jolted awake as I was shaken violently and yelled at from an outside source, my hands shot out to grab something from being shaken. My eyes were shot wide open as I looked up, and was met with a grumpy looking Sebastian, who looked down at me with annoyance. I also noticed that I was being held in Sebastian arms bridal style just like the first time he had to carry me when my legs were paralyzed.

‘What the HELL was that for!” I asked as I yelled at Sebastian for waking me up in such an abrupt and rude way. Sebastian shrugged his shoulders as he slowly moved me down so I could get out of his arms. I let go of Sebastian as my hands had latched onto his white shirt when I was very rudely shaken awake and moved out of his arms with a slight stumble, still slightly tired.

“My arms were getting tired from being in an odd position for a while.” Sebastian answered cooly as he stretched out his three arms in different directions, effectively making them sound out a popping sound from his stiff joints. “Also it's hard to collect stuff while carrying someone. Thought about just strapping you to my tail”

Sebastian chuckled to himself at the last part as I glared at him with my arms crossed sloppy over my torso.

“You couldn’t have done it in a nicer way?” I questioned with a sleepy glare as I noticed my person felt much lighter. I felt around myself to find that my oxygen tanks and bags weren't on me anymore and instead were now attached to Sebastian's tail. I guess it would be easier to carry me without the tanks on my back.

‘Where’s the fun in that?” Sebastian shot back with his stupid smug grin still stretched across his face.

‘What if an entity heard your loud ass yelling? They could be making their way here.” I pointed out as I suggested the thought outwardly. Sebastian looked at me for a couple of seconds, he seemed to be thinking about something before he came to a realization.

“Shit.” That was my only warning from Sebastian before I was quickly grabbed by his extra hand and forced towards his chest as he began to quickly move around. I heard the sound of concrete breaking and claws digging as Sebastian quickly moved, jolting me around in his hold from the sudden action. I looked up from Sebastian's chest after initially being stuffed into his side, and saw that Sebastian was climbing the tall walls of the room with his bare hands. His large blue-ish light gray hands easily dug deep into the solid walls, creating gash like markings across the flat gray surface as he smoothly climbed the vertical area.
