The sun shone brightly over California as the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians made their grand entrance at The D23 Expo. An electric atmosphere filled the air, brimming with excitement as fans eagerly awaited their arrival.

Having just completed a lively panel discussion that left everyone buzzing, the cast was ready to head to the event hall for a meet-and-greet with their enthusiastic supporters.

As they approached the event hall, security swung open the double doors, revealing the bustling space that seemed almost enchanted with energy.

"Damn," Walker exclaimed, his eyes wide with wonder, prompting soft laughter from those around him.

Leah stared ahead, feeling a mix of exhilaration and nervousness fluttering in her stomach at the sight of so many faces.

There were a huge number of people present.

As they stood together, Leah's hand, which had been casually hanging by her side, grazed Walker's, sending a quiet signal to him. Walker picked up on the subtle cue and tenderly wrapped his fingers around hers, giving her hand a gentle squeeze of reassurance.

"It's okay," Walker murmured softly, his voice barely breaking the silence as he kept his eyes fixed forward.

Leah's gaze drifted upward, her brown eyes shining with affection as she looked at Walker. She loved these moments in her new romantic relationship with the blonde; they felt absolutely perfect.

As the cast walked into the event hall, a surge of people flooded in behind them, rushing past. Leah focused nervously on the faces around her, trying to keep her interlocked hand with Walker hidden from fans.

She was so distracted that she didn't notice when the cast stopped, causing her to softly bump into Walker.

Leah hurriedly said, "I'm sorry, Walk-"

"Are you alright, princess?" Walker inquired, his voice laced with warmth. It was this gentle tone that made Leah's heart flutter. It was reserved solely for her, and her alone.

Leah nodded gently, "Yeah. I'm sorry," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Don't be sorry, Leah," Walker comforted her, giving her hand another reassuring squeeze.

He looked at Leah with affection before lightly nudging Aryan's shoulder. Aryan turned to meet his gaze, and Walker made a gesture that prompted a deep sigh from Aryan.

Aryan positioned himself in front of them, creating a barrier from prying eyes. Walker chuckled softly before placing a tender kiss on Leah's forehead, free from the worry of being watched.

"Thanks, dude," Walker said.

"Sure, whatever," Aryan replied, his tone dripping with playful sarcasm, which made Walker laugh.

The group continued to weave through the bustling crowd, and despite Walker's comforting presence, Leah felt a wave of anxiety wash over her.

People rushed by, bumping into her, fans eagerly greeted her, and she noticed a flurry of phones aimed her way, capturing her every move.

Leah edged closer to Walker, feeling the weight of stress pressing down on her. Suddenly, as more people crowded in around them, Leah's hand slipped from Walker's grasp.

Her eyes widened in shock.

Before she could fully comprehend what had just happened, she turned to look for her cast, only to realize that it had vanished as well.

Panic surged through her as Leah scanned the throng of people, desperately searching for a glimpse of familiar curly blonde hair-or brown or black; anything that resembled her lost cast. Her heart sank when she realized her efforts were in vain.

Leah felt like a lost kitten stranded in the middle of a busy road, surrounded by towering strangers who rushed past her without a second glance.

Leah felt a sudden weight on her shoulder and turned to find Daniel Diemer looking down at her, a look of genuine concern in his eyes.

"Hey, are you okay?" he asked softly, his voice familiar and soothing.

"Walker, Danny. I lost Walker," Leah managed to say, her voice trembling as tears threatened to spill from her eyes.

"Don't cry. We'll find him," Daniel reassured her, his hands remaining gently on her shoulders and guiding her through the crowd.

As they moved, Leah struggled to keep her bearings, the throngs of people swirling around her causing her vision to blur. She squeezed her eyes shut, letting out a soft whimper.

"I'm sorry," Daniel said, noticing the tension in her shoulders. "I think I see him."

At those words, a wave of relief washed over Leah.

Soon, Daniel led her back to the group, and she spotted a familiar light blue shirt ahead. It was Walker.

Without a moment's hesitation, Leah rushed to him and enveloped him in a tight embrace, resting her head against the crook of his neck.

Walker was initially startled by the sudden affection-not because of the hug, but due to the PDA. He couldn't help but wonder how the fans would react to this moment.

"Hey, let's find somewhere private," Walker suggested softly.

Leah gently nodded, tears cascading down her cheeks as she pulled her head away from Walker's shoulder, letting out a soft sniffle.

Walker took her hand, maneuvering through the throngs of people, finally steering her toward a door that opened into a serene hallway, where only the distant hum of the convention could be heard.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Walker inquired, his tone laced with worry as he stepped closer to Leah, the two teenagers standing face to face.

Typical Percy and Annabeth.

Leah shook her head, her tears continuing to fall. "Don't go," she pleaded, her voice quivering.

"Look at me," Walker urged softly.

Leah's brown eyes locked onto his blue ones.

"I promise, I'm not going anywhere, pretty girl," he reassured her.

Feeling her heart warm, Leah held his gaze.

"If you need a moment, we can stay here for a bit," Walker suggested.

Leah shook her head again. "People are waiting to see Percy, and-"

"I have time," Walker interjected gently.

He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close and pressing a kiss to her forehead before enveloping her in a comforting hug.

"How about we make a deal? I'll give you all the cuddles you need after D23 if you promise to hold onto me when things get overwhelming, okay?" he proposed, his voice full of kindness.

Leah nodded, sinking deeper into Walker's embrace.

"Awww," a voice suddenly broke through the moment.

Both Leah and Walker pulled away, startled, to find Daniel watching them with a teasing grin.

"How long have you been standing there?" Walker asked, one eyebrow raised.

"Long enough to witness the cutest moments ever. Looks like Tyson isn't the only one with a big heart. I'll just be over here pretending I didn't see anything," Daniel chuckled.

Leah laughed softly while Walker rolled his eyes playfully, a smile spreading across his face.
