"Hey-yours has way more than mine," Walker said, holding up his cup and eyeing hers.

Leah didn't even glance his way. "That was intentional," she said, taking a long, satisfied sip through her straw.

Walker huffed a laugh, shaking his head. "Oh, okay," he said, then took a sip of his own.

It was a warm Southern California night, the kind where the air felt soft and the world seemed to slow down. Teen stars Walker Scobell and Leah Sava Jeffries had retreated to the quiet comfort of Walker's living room, the day behind them a blur of laughter, shared meals, and inside jokes only they could understand.

Now, they sat shoulder to shoulder on the couch, a blanket tossed over their legs, the flicker of the TV casting gentle light across the room. Each of them held a homemade milkshake, condensation beading on the glasses as they sipped between smiles and soft commentary on whatever was playing.

Leah's phone buzzed, and she leaned to the side, slipping it out of her pocket with one hand while keeping the other wrapped around her milkshake.

Walker took the opportunity. Quick glance-she was focused on her screen. He leaned over and took a long sip from her straw, careful not to make a sound.

Leah caught the motion just as she looked up. Her eyes went wide.

"Walkerrrr," she groaned, grabbing the straw from his mouth with her fingertips.

She lifted the cup, inspecting it. "You drank, like, all of it."

She gave him a shove-not hard, but enough to make her point.

"We were already gonna make more," Walker said, unbothered, flashing her a grin.

Leah let out a sigh, then leaned her head against his shoulder.

"I'm sorry," he offered, sounding kind of sincere as he dug his spoon into his own cup for a scoop of ice cream.

Leah peeked up just as he raised the spoon. Without a word, she sat up and opened her mouth.

Walker guided the bite in, but as soon as she took it, he lightly tapped her nose with the tip of the spoon, leaving a cold dot of ice cream behind.

"Lovie...," she sighed, a lazy grin tugging at her lips as she wiped her nose.

"There was something on your nose," he said, smirking.

Leah shook her head, rolling her eyes with a playful grin. Without a word, she leaned forward, placed her milkshake on the coffee table, then reached over and gently took Walker's from his hand, setting it down next to hers.

"I wasn't done," Walker said, eyebrows raised.

"Too bad," Leah shot back, already shifting positions. She swung one leg over his lap and settled onto him, straddling him with practiced ease.

She looped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a tight cuddle, her chin brushing his shoulder. But Walker didn't move. His hands stayed right where they were-doing nothing.

Leah pulled back just enough to look at him, unimpressed.

She grabbed his wrists and guided his arms around her waist. "At least act like you love me," she muttered, before burying her face in his neck and hugging him again, this time even closer.
