~Harry~

Many years had passed since the day they found Helga, and although they tried to go back to normal with the founders as leaders of Hogwarts, it soon became apparent that the rest of the world didn’t accept the changes as easily as they did.

So they slowly fazed out of the wizarding world as Voldemort bought an island that was known to only be visible periodically through the clouds. They set up barriers and wards that would only allow those that truly needed help to enter so even though they stayed on their island, their population steadily grew.

They managed to move Hogwarts to the island after replacing her with a copy with the help of the goblins and the new students returned after the holidays with only a slight awareness that the castle now seemed to be missing something. A few other castles and Manors were also moved to provide enough living space for everyone without having them stumbling over each other at every turn.

All of Harry’s friends accepted the change into Golden Dragons, and as such, their children were born Golden Dragons as well. They also brought over some of the creatures from Hogwarts’ original location that refused to stay without them and surprisingly enough, the Whomping Willow and the Kraken had followed them along with most of Hogwart’s Unicorn, Thestral, and Centaur herds.

Even Selene had made the journey, but it soon became apparent that she had aged beyond her years. With her death, an entire nest of basilisks made their way into the world and with the island full of meat eaters with nothing to feed them, Harry soon created a portal from Death’s realm to give a steady supply of bunnies for all the meat eaters to enjoy on the island.

It was quite a sight to see a shaky thestral-foal chasing down a rainbow bunny, but it soon became normal as they adapted to life on the island.

Muggles that found themselves washed up on the shore also made the place their home and it wasn’t long before the wizards needed to think of a way to make the island bigger. They soon utilized volcanic eruptions through which they would then guide the lava to make the island bigger, but they were still mostly cut off from the world.

The island soon had its own marketplace and there were even a few witches and wizards that brought things back from the outside world from time to time.

With the arrival of 2250, the wards around the island finally fell, but the residents of the island were welcomed into a world much different than what they were used to. Space travel had opened new opportunities with new races and as such, magic wasn’t considered to be strange or weird anymore.

The residents of the island still kept strict rules on those that were allowed to visit the island, but they were able to live in harmony with both the muggles of the world and the aliens that sometimes visited, though invading races soon found out that Earth wasn’t to be trifled with as her witches and wizards swiftly dealt with any threat that came her way.

It was after one such invasion that Harry found himself dragged into bed with Voldemort as his husband checked him over for injuries, “I’m fine! The bomb missed me by a mile and I had a shield up…”

His words were interrupted as Voldemort roughly pushed him down upon their bed, “I think I need to check again, just to be sure that you aren’t hiding anything from me. The last time you said you were fine you almost drowned in the bathtub after passing out due to blood loss.”

Harry shook his in exasperation, but he was secretly pleased that Voldemort cared so much for him. He allowed himself to be manhandled as Voldemort used his magic to run a few scans over his body.

It didn’t take long for Voldemort to realize that he was, in fact, fine and it wasn’t a surprise when his arousal made an appearance as Voldemort finally took in their current positions.
