Sunoo's POV:

I had noticed Sunghoon's unusual behavior over the past few days. It was unlike Sunghoon to be so distracted, so preoccupied. He had always been the composed, focused one among them. But lately, Sunghoon seemed distant, lost in his own thoughts.

One evening, I decided to confront him. He found Sunghoon sitting in the living room, staring out the window.

Sunoo: (curiously) Sunghoon, what's going on with you? You've been acting strange lately.

Sunghoon turned to look at him, his expression unreadable.

Sunghoon: (evasively) It's nothing. Just some things on my mind.

Sunoo: (doubtfully) Really? Because it seems like more than that. You're hardly ever home, and when you are, you're not really here.

Sunghoon sighed, running a hand through his hair.

Sunghoon: (reluctantly) There's this girl... Heeyoung. I can't stop thinking about her.

Sunoo raised an eyebrow, surprised by the admission.

Sunoo: (teasingly) A girl? That's what's got you all worked up?

Sunghoon: (defensively) It's not like that. I just... I almost hit her with my car the other day. She crossed the road without looking.

Sunoo: (smirking) So, you're playing the knight in shining armor now? How romantic.

Sunghoon: (annoyed) It's not romantic. It's... I don't know. I just feel like I need to make sure she's okay.

Sunoo: (grinning) Sure, sure. Keep telling yourself that. Next thing you know, you'll be writing her love letters.

Sunghoon: (rolling his eyes) Can you be serious for a second?

Sunoo: (laughing) Alright, alright. But seriously, Sunghoon, just be careful. Don't lose yourself in this.

Sunghoon: (sighing) You're impossible, you know that?

Sunoo: (mockingly) And yet, you still love me. Now, tell me more about this damsel in distress. Does she have a name, or should I just call her 'the girl who almost got run over'?

Sunghoon: (grumbling) Her name is Heeyoung. And stop making fun of me!

Sunoo: (gasping dramatically) Heeyoung! What a beautiful name for a beautiful story. Sunghoon, the reluctant hero, and Heeyoung, the girl who stole his heart with a single careless step.

Sunghoon: (groaning) I regret telling you anything.

Sunoo: (patting Sunghoon's shoulder) Don't worry, buddy. Your secret is safe with me. But seriously, if you need any help with your love life, you know where to find me.

Sunghoon: (smirking) Yeah, because you're such an expert.

Sunoo: (grinning) Hey, I've got my moments. Remember that time I set you up with that girl from the coffee shop?

Sunghoon: (deadpan) You mean the one who turned out to be your cousin?

Sunoo: (laughing) Details, details. The point is, I'm here for you. Now, go get some rest. You've got a girl to protect, after all.

Sunghoon: (shaking his head) You're unbelievable.

Sunoo: (winking) And you love me for it. Now, go on, Romeo. Your Juliet awaits.

Sunghoon: (sighing) If I ever need a jester, I'll know who to call.

Sunoo: (mockingly bowing) At your service, my liege. Now, seriously, what's your plan? Are you going to follow her around like a lost puppy?

Sunghoon: (smirking) Maybe. Or maybe I'll just keep bumping into her until she notices me.

Sunoo: (laughing) That's one way to do it. Just don't spill any more coffee on her. You might end up with a restraining order instead of a date.

Sunghoon: (grinning) Thanks for the advice, Casanova. I'll keep that in mind.

Sunoo: (seriously) But really, Sunghoon, if you like her, just talk to her. Be yourself. You're a great guy. She'll see that.

Sunghoon: (softly) Thanks, Sunoo

One of the very rare times when Sunghoon actually called Sunoo by his name; when he was grateful for him.
