Heeyoung took a deep breath, her heart pounding as she prepared to tell Danielle the truth. They were sitting in their favorite cafe, the same place where Heeyoung had first met Sunghoon. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, mingling with the soft chatter of other patrons.
"Danielle, there's something I need to tell you," Heeyoung began, her voice trembling slightly. Danielle looked up from her phone, her eyes hidden behind stylish sunglasses, a playful smirk on her lips.
"What's up, Heeyoung? You look serious," Danielle said, setting her phone aside and leaning back in her chair, exuding an effortless cool.
Heeyoung hesitated for a moment, then decided to just say it. "I've been seeing someone."
Danielle's eyebrows shot up above her sunglasses. "Oh really? Spill the tea, girl! Who's the lucky guy?"
Heeyoung bit her lip, unsure of how much to reveal. "His name is Sunghoon. We met here, actually. He's... different. Special."
Danielle leaned in, her curiosity piqued. "Different, huh? In a good way, I hope. What's his deal?"
Heeyoung smiled, her thoughts drifting to Sunghoon. "We met by chance. He bumped into me, spilling his coffee all over me, and we just started talking. He's kind, thoughtful, and... there's something mysterious about him. We've been seeing each other for a while now."
Danielle's expression softened, but her cool demeanor remained. "Heeyoung, that's awesome. I'm happy for you. But why keep it a secret from me? You know I've got your back."
Heeyoung sighed, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders. "I wasn't sure how to explain it. Everything happened so fast, and I didn't want to jinx it. Plus, there are some things about him that are... complicated."
Danielle reached out and squeezed Heeyoung's hand, her grip firm and reassuring. "Hey, no worries. You don't have to spill all the details right now. Just know I'm here for you. And I definitely want to meet this mysterious Sunghoon."
Heeyoung felt a surge of relief and gratitude. "Thanks, Danielle. That means a lot."
Danielle grinned, her playful side emerging. "So, is he hot? Like, on a scale of one to Chris Hemsworth, where does he land?"
Heeyoung laughed, feeling the tension at ease. "I'd say he's a solid nine. Maybe even a ten on a good day."
Danielle raised an eyebrow. "A ten, huh? Well, now I definitely need to meet him. And if he has any hot friends, you better introduce me."
Heeyoung rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile. "I haven't met any yet, but I'll see what I can do."
Danielle leaned back, a mischievous glint in her eye. "And if he turns out to be a secret agent or something, you better let me know. I always wanted to be friends with a spy."
Heeyoung chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind. But seriously, thanks for being so cool about this."
Danielle waved her hand dismissively. "Please, I'm always cool. Now, tell me more about this Sunghoon. Does he have any weird habits? Like, does he collect toenail clippings or something?"
Heeyoung burst out laughing. "No, nothing like that. He's actually pretty normal. Well, except for the cryptic messages he sent this one time."
Danielle's eyes lit up. "Ooh, mysterious messages? Now we're talking! Maybe he's a poet or a secret admirer. Or maybe he's just really bad at texting."
Heeyoung shook her head, still laughing. "No, actually... he is the kid I saved from the bullies, years ago."
Danielle couldn't believe her ears, "The timid boy with the bowl cut, that guy who asked me to click a picture of him and you? No way! He is Sunghoon? And now you're dating him? Woah, You really are something, Heeyoung.
As they continued to banter and joke, Heeyoung felt a sense of peace. She had taken the first step in sharing her secret, and it felt good to have her best friend's support.

Sunghoon sat on the edge of his bed, staring at his phone. He had been meaning to talk to Sunoo about Heeyoung for a while now, but he wasn't sure how to bring it up. Finally, he decided to just go for it. He dialed Sunoo's number and waited as the phone rang.
"Hey, Sunghoon! What's up?" Sunoo's cheerful voice came through the line.
"Hey, Sunoo. Do you have a minute? I need to talk to you about something," Sunghoon said, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Sure, man. What's going on?" Sunoo asked, his tone becoming more serious.
Sunghoon took a deep breath. "I've been seeing someone. Her name is Heeyoung."
There was a brief pause on the other end of the line before Sunoo responded. "Wait, Heeyoung? As in the girl who almost got hit by your car?"
Sunghoon chuckled nervously. "Yeah, that's the one."
Sunoo burst out laughing. "No way! That's hilarious. So, how did that turn into dating?"
Sunghoon smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Well, after that incident, you know that I bumped into her at a cafe and "accidentally" spilled coffee all over her. I felt terrible and offered to buy her a new drink. Now, We end up talking for hours. She's amazing, Sunoo. She's kind, smart, and there's something about her that just draws me in."
Sunghoon sighed. "It's just... complicated. I'm not sure how to handle all of this. It's been a while since I've been in a relationship."
Sunoo's voice softened. "Hey, it's okay to feel that way. Relationships are always a bit messy, but it sounds like you care about her. Just take it one step at a time. And if you need any advice, you know I'm here for you."
Sunghoon felt a wave of gratitude. "Thanks, Sunoo. That means a lot. I just hope I don't mess things up."
Sunoo laughed. "Trust me, you're a great guy, you're doing fine. Just be yourself and be honest with her. And if she likes you as much as you like her, everything will work out."
Sunghoon nodded, even though Sunoo couldn't see him. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks, man. I needed to hear that."
"No problem. And hey, when do I get to meet this Heeyoung? She sounds pretty special," Sunoo said, his tone lightening.
Sunghoon chuckled. "Soon, I promise. Maybe we can all hang out sometime."
"Looking forward to it," Sunoo replied. "
"But SHE IS TAKEN", Sunghoon added.
"Woah, I ain't gonna steal your girl, calm down. And remember, if you ever need anything, call me up, not because I am your secretary, but because I'm your friend.
"Will do. Thanks again, Sunoo," Sunghoon said, feeling a bit more confident.
As he hung up the phone, Sunghoon felt a sense of relief. He had taken the first step in opening up about Heeyoung, and it felt good to have Sunoo's support.
