    As Xia was about to hit Yunxi for the third time, Yunxi opened her eyes and held her paw.

    ( What the hell?!!! You almost gave me a heart attack!!!) Xia sobbed loudly.

   It was kind of weird to see a cat crying. The expression on her face…frightening. She was standing on Yunxi's chest, and looking at her worriedly.

   " What..happ..ened?  " Yunxi asked, her voice hoarse, as she sat up with Xia in her arms. Xia was now bigger, like the size of a month old wolf.

  ( You tell me ! I told you to beat that wolf into a pulp, but it was the opposite! )

   " What exactly happened?" Yunxi asked, her voice back to normal. She just finished gulping down a bottle of water.

   ( Well, After I was healed. I opened my eyes to see this barrier around me . I tried to turn it off, but I couldn't. As l moved, I realized everywhere was quiet and foggy. Since I couldn't turn it off , I decided to leave it. When I turned around, I found you…You were cold, and your heartbeat was very faint. Out of fear of what was happening to you, I started to slap you out of your unconsciousness. ) Xia narrated.

   Yunxi still felt the sting from her hits.

" Maybe…You should refrain from using too much strength." Yunxi said with a smile, and rubbed her head.

   Xia was actually scared of the most reliable answer to her predicament, death. Yunxi was feeling every ounce of her emotions, so she knew what was really going on.

    ( What was happening to you? You were slipping.)

   " I was recollecting the past. "

    ( What past?)

    " Ugh! I am so dirty, and slimy."  Yunxi was trying to remove the wolf's matter on her. She was covered in blood, and looked to be in a sorry state. She was avoiding Xia's earlier question. She didn't want to talk about it, and Xia wouldn't pester her.

   Yunxi removed her clothes and washed her body of the filth before donning another black cloth. Xia wasn't as shy as the first time.

   Like , Excuse me ! This is the apocalypse. It's a luxury, if someone was able to find clean water to bathe. Who cares about the surroundings.

    " Okay! Let's loot them , and get away from here. " Yunxi went towards the Alpha Wolf and extracted him.
The materials were intact, despite the fact that she had brutally bashed him into a pulp. Yunxi shut the notifications from the system a while ago, since it was distracting her.

    She quickly extracted the rest of the wolves and kept the loots in her inventory.

   She had leveled repeatedly, causing her inventory to widen in space. And she was instantly healed as she leveled up.

    ( Where are we going? ) Xia asked curiously.
    They were going back the way they came. Instead of leaving the dungeon, since the portal was open.

    " If we leave first, they will suspect me . They would probe me , and that can put my family in danger."

    ( Oh…So that's why! Okay!) Xia's size had reduced back to the baby kitten form with the barrier around her.  Meanwhile, Yunxi's original reason was to get revenge for the three students who died brutally, and reap benefits from the other dead students. They were free resources! How could she let them go to waste! Even though they wouldn't give her much , their low talents were upgradable. And +1 strength is something! She couldn't let them die in vain! At least, their deaths would make her grow stronger.
